I am not a pro, just a person, who used a rotary tool, fix and unfix things at my work desk/Flytying/repair table and the Proxxon 28608 Precision Vise FMZ with Clamp is a nice addition to hold work and stabilize anything I will do while seated there. It is a heavy metal tool precision made for hobbiest or semi pro who will need to hold their work securly, with a hard or soft jawed grip. Well made and only needs a little dry molly sprayed on the threaded drives to be ready for use with a vise pivot that allows positioning of work as needed. Heavy and a good mount for a solid hold to your work table edge.

Der Proxxon Feinmechanikerschraubstock FMZ hat meine Erwartungen voll erfüllt und ist ein echtes Highlight für jeden, der präzise und filigrane Arbeiten durchführt. Die Qualität, wie man sie von Proxxon gewohnt ist, ist ausgezeichnet. Besonders beeindruckend finde ich die Vielseitigkeit. Dank des drehbaren und schwenkbaren Kopfes kann man das Werkstück in fast jede gewünschte Position bringen. Das ist bei komplizierten Arbeiten wie im Modellbau, bei der Schmuckherstellung oder Elektronikreparaturen Gold wert. Die Verarbeitung ist top: Der Schraubstock fühlt sich robust an und die Mechanik läuft sauber und ohne Spiel. Die 75 mm breiten Backen mit den praktischen Schutzüberzügen sind ein großes Plus. So kann man empfindliche Teile sicher und fest fixieren, ohne sie zu zerkratzen oder zu beschädigen. Man sollte sich allerdings bewusst sein, dass dies ein Feinmechaniker-Schraubstock ist. Für schwere oder grobe Arbeiten ist er nicht konzipiert – dafür gibt es andere Modelle. Aber für seinen vorgesehenen Einsatzzweck ist er absolut unschlagbar. Wer häufig mit kleinen Bauteilen arbeitet und eine stabile, flexible und schützende Halterung benötigt, wird den Kauf nicht bereuen. Absolut empfehlenswert!
