How long do the pigtails last?

The pigtails themselves are pretty well made. I have had to sew them back on the doll a few times though. But when they come off they stay in tact. We've had the doll for about a year and a half and my daughter still loves it.

Based on other Super Mario plushes I own, their tags say to wash separately without bleach, hand wash in cold water, and hang out to dry.

Is there a way i can bring her to life to be a live toad 5 foot tall girl toad
