he Godox AD300 Pro is hands-down one of the best upgrades I’ve made for photography. It’s the perfect balance of serious studio power and real-world portability. The 300Ws output is more than enough to overpower daylight when you need it, and the consistency shot-to-shot is rock solid—exactly what you want when you’re working fast and can’t afford surprises. TTL is accurate and saves time when the lighting changes on the fly, and HSS up to 1/8000s is a game-changer for outdoor portraits—crisp subjects, controlled highlights, and that clean, cinematic look even in harsh sun. Recycling is quick, the controls are straightforward, and it just feels like a professional tool built to work, not to be babied. Battery performance has been excellent for long sessions, and pairing it with a softbox or umbrella gives you gorgeous, flattering light with very little effort. If you’re shooting portraits, events, or any on-location work and want dependable, high-end results without hauling a full studio, the AD300 Pro is a no-brainer. Bottom line: powerful, consistent, fast, and extremely versatile—this strobe makes shooting outdoors feel effortless.

As all my reviews on Godox equipment, great quality. I shop Godox before any other. As a matter of fact, Godox is all I have. I will continue to purchase. They are 1st and my only option.

It is expensive but it works amazing! It is a work horse! Brightness is very great when shooting photos!

Es muy buen flash

Battery Won’t Eject! BEWARE! After one use, the battery eject button broke and the battery will not eject. Ruined a very important shoot. I found out this is a very COMMON PROBLEM with the AD300 Pro. DO NOT buy if quality and dependability are important to you. Cheap parts. I am a professional photographer and I have other Godox gear that works very well. This flash is just poorly designed and definitely NOT worth $499. Sadly, this is my opinion after buying and trying this flash in a professional environment.

So far we love these lights so we bought 3. I hope they hold up to commercial production work. Coming from shooting with Profoto in studio and Canon speed lights on location with a convoluted adaptation with wireless Pocket Wizards and Chimera Speedrings, these 300s are a revelation in the field. No more weird connection problems with the PW's, no more huge speed ring adapters in the grip case, no more raising and lowering lights to fine-tune flash output. No more going thru cases of AA's for the PW and the speed lights. My assistant absolutely loves these things. Faster setup, more power, a modeling light if you need it in dim or backlit shots, reliable wireless. A+++

I like Godox because of the price point. This one works nicely.

Favorite handhold flash for wedding and for studio with the good soft box.

This light is nice, but the mounting is not stirdy enough. You need the S2 bracket to conbine it with bowens mount light modifiers. But the you have to remove the original mounting option

De Godox AD300 is een kleine, handige en krachtige flits die perfect werkt binnen het Godox‑ecosysteem. Zoals bij alle Godox‑flitsen voelt alles degelijk gebouwd aan. De flits komt in een handige draagtas, al is het wel jammer dat de statiefbevestiging telkens verwijderd moet worden om alles netjes op te bergen. Aan Godox zelf zou ik zonder twijfel 5 sterren geven. Helaas trek ik er twee sterren af omdat de informatie van de verkoper niet klopt. De Godox‑naar‑Bowens adapter werd niet meegeleverd, terwijl dit wel zo vermeld stond. Bovendien heb ik na twee maanden nog steeds geen reactie gekregen op mijn vraag hierover. Dat is echt teleurstellend.

Fast delivery, however when opened i discovered the glass dome was cracked. I'm very disappointed. It would've had to have been cracked before being packed as the box was undamaged.
