Teaching our History begins in the Home
This is a great and attractive chart to hang anywhere in one's home. I have it hanging on the side of our "butler's pantry" in our kitchen and its bright colors & pictures inspire conversations/comments from everyone who enters my kitchen. My 6 yr old grandson and I "rap" the name of the invention & the inventor using a sassy beat that we sing in the house, car, etc. & his parents are automatically catching on and learning also.

Good but misleading
I wish I had looked at this a bit closer before buying it. Some of the inventions are mislabeled (i.e. the "gas mask" should be "smoke hood"). My biggest issue is the attribution of peanut butter to George Washington Carver, he did a lot, but he didn't invent peanut butter. Still going to hang it in my son's room, will just need to clarify a few things.
