Such a great set!
This are colorful magnets for playing and for educational use. There are 60! magnets so we can rotate them and the kids do not get bored. Approx. 13/4" tall High quality toys and games Products that are great fun from children to adults 13/4" tall For ages 3 and up I have been looking for something like this for a while now and decided to try them out. These …. are spectacular! I must admit I was not so sure they would be fun but my twins just love them! I bought these magnets for my 30 month old to use on a magnet board in our hallway. I chose these because 1) the magnet is all one piece on the back, not little strips or pieces that can come off and be eaten, 2) they are foam, not wood with paint, 3) they're not so small that I have to worry about my daughter swallowing them. The set has 60 magnets, but I didn't give them all to her at once. Some of the smaller, narrower ones (a key, a feather) I kept in the tub, but there are lots of good animal ones (cow, chicken, cat, rabbit, dog, ect.) and every day objects (block, blanket, doll, house, star, ball, ect.) that I put out for her to play with. They keep her occupied and when she holds one out I tell her what it is. She has put them in her mouth a few times, but I discourage her from doing so when I see her. The tub is great to hold the extras that she's not playing with, and the magnets are strong, durable, and safe for little ones. I really like these magnets and wish there were more sets similar to this by the same company, because I would definitely buy them! Very satisfied with the shipping, as well, I got it very fast and the packaging was great! Everything arrived unopened, clean and not damaged!

Great for toddlers and teethers!
PERFECT!!! Finding learning devices for my two year old can be a chore sometimes because he has a younger brother who just loves to chew on EVERYthing. Well, that's to be expected since he's teething. So, when I found these, I immediately jumped on ordering them for multiple reasons. 1) They consist of a variety of different objects. Some that my two year old doesn't know quite yet so he gets to learn something new. 2) They are foam! I have had bad luck with magnets of the "reinforced cardboard" type. His younger brother can grab these and gnaw to his heart's delight and they remain intact which leads me to... 3) The magnet covers the whole back. It's thin magnetic backing instead of a some tiny nubby square or circle being glued onto the back. It pretty much eliminates that particular choking danger. Obviously, kids being kids, you should ALWAYS keep an eye on them because god knows what they're going to try to shove up their nose or what new object they think might taste good - but the backing on these has not worn off, peeled off, or come apart as of yet and my boys have been playing with/chewing on them for about two months now. Lastly, if your tub is of metal making, they can play with them during bath time. It's a great distraction from when I'm trying to get behind their ears. :-) I highly recommend this - they work on the fridge, your filing cabinet, a kid's magnetic board, the bath tub - they'll even just line them up on the floor. Great learning toy that has withstood the destructive hands of children.

Love these Magnets
We have 2.5 y.o. twins and constantly looking for creative ways to educate them. So, our kids are now into: - Puzzles - Stickers - Magnets Each type of activity has plus and minus, but all allow kids to learn very well Animals, Shapes, Colors, etc. Very effective. We started with Puzzles, as kids loved them for a while (paper / wood / foam puzzles). Moved to Stickers (nice, but kids tend to tear them - so "reusable" stickers are questionable.. stickers end fast). Newest idea is Magnets. I had Magnetic Alphabet, which kids loved, so figured let's try other Magnetic things. Magnets are great for many reasons: sturdy, reusable, easy to handle for kids. You just need magnetic stand/board. So we got 4 types of Magnet games: 1) Lewo Farm - Lewo Farm Magnetic Board Games Double-face Drawing Board Wooden Education Toys for Kids Dry Erase Board Jigsaw Puzzle Games 2) Melissa & Doug Wooden Magnets Bundle - Shapes and Farm - Melissa & Doug Wooden Magnets Bundle - Shapes and Farm 3) Melissa & Doug 20 Animal Magnets in a Box - Melissa & Doug 20 Animal Magnets in a Box 4) Foam Magnets - Objects - Foam Magnets - Objects I have to admit, that my personal favorite and kids favorite - #4 Foam Magnets - Objects - Foam Magnets - Objects . Nothing not to love about them (quantity, quality, price). Convenient storage plastic jar! Melissa & Doug would be my next choice - sturdy wooden magnets, but pictures look more complex and I don't like that the box doesn't have cover (how stupid). Now, back to Foam Magnets - Objects - Foam Magnets - Objects . PROs. I like Price, Quality, Quantity. This is an awesome set. CONs - PIECES. I would recommend removing few pieces from this set - non-basic, unnecessary, confusing. So as an adult, go through all the objects and set aside what you don't think is important/needed. WISH. I wish there was even more! I would buy additional sets - maybe shapes, colors, and theme-related magnets! Overall, kids are very excited about magnets, so much that we are getting 2 boards and hanging them on walls for them (for magnets and to draw). I think it's an awesome way for kids to learn and have fun. Who needs blank walls! We are getting these boards - Master of Boards® Drywipe Magnetic Whiteboard - 36" x 24" | Includes Aluminum Frame and Pen Tray
