Playhut City Boutique

I bought this playhouse boutique for my three year old daughter. When viewing tents online my daughter was not so interested in reviews as she was that it was a big "PINK" tent. So I basically purchased it for that reason. I was pleasantly surprised when I received the item. The playhouse looks exactly as pictured. The size could comfortably hold 2 toddlers up to 3 if sitting. The set-up instructions were very straight forward and the tent was easy to put together (which is very important with an impatient toddler). No tools required. The tent did come with a purple "curtain" which was suppose to be used as a "changing room" divider in order to partition about a half of the tent to be used for that purpose. This is suppose to be a clothing boutique. I found the curtain to awkwardly hang from the ceiling of the tent and take up way to much room. We ended up attaching it to the bottom of the tent, to act as a floorboard since the tent did not come with one. The tent isn't your high end camping tent and isn't as robust as you would expect from an outdoor tent. Although, I have purchase other play tents that appeared to have more durability. The fabric seems like something you would find under a box spring mattress (just thicker). However it is strong enough to withstand hours and hours of play and makes a great indoor playhouse to enhance your child's imagination. The fabric allows for the tent to collapse very easily making it a quick clean-up and store away product. I store mine under my daughter's bed. The door and window gives the tent more imagination. My daughter plays house, drive thru coffee shop,etc. There are draw back curtains on both sides of the tent and can be drawn back or tied close. I am very pleased with this purchase and my daughter is as well. She has spent numerous hours playing make believe.

Lemme start off by sayin...this thing is HUGE (for a kid)! I really didn't expect it to be as big as it is! It was extremely easy to put together, it literally just pops up. That's my main reason for ordering this tent...I've gotten two diff tents before this that require you to assemble them with those stupid poles you have to interlock and everything. I failed miserably with them, I had gotten the wrong pieces once and the other time it just wouldn't assemble right! This one was so easy right out of the box, all you need to do is put the little cardboard in the window and a pole slides in the top/"door". There's a purple curtain you attach with little hoops on the "ceiling" that hangs over the "mirror". I honestly don't get the whole point of it lol, it doesn't leave very much room to go between and sit by the mirror and it seems a little random but my almost-3-year-old doesn't care or seem to notice. I'm prob gonna take it out just to give her more room. As someone said in a diff review, the "mirror" is just shiny material, not a real mirror. Again, my daughter doesn't care at all. I can sit in this tent easily w my child and the mesh sides are great so I can peek in without her knowing I'm watching her lol. Get this tent!!!

I didn't have any issues with delivery or not having a "carry bag". When its not in use, I break it down and throw it in a closet. Very easy to take down and put up. It is flimsy, but that's part of the convenience, really. My daughter LOVES it. It's her little house and she put her little desk in there and it's like a little sanctuary. My daughter just turned 3, and fits inside comfortably. The "mirror" is just pretend, it is just like aluminum foil material, kinda reminded me of the hubble telescope foil. The dressing room is also mostly pretend, just to have a curtain. All in all, it makes my daughter happy, and has held up to her playing with it daily for about a month and a half. For the price, it's just worth it to see her smile and play. Plus it's super cute.

I've been trying to prepare my small apartment for winter and I know the kiddies like their own space. I bought this for my 2.5 year old daughter. She's a little taller than 3 ft tall. This is a great tent- it really is pretty much pop and play. This requires a little more putting together in that there are poles for the top and the door and the little curtain needed to be buttoned on. A couple of things about this... Pop up is great!! I love it. It makes it really easy to use (and put away, if my girl would ever let me put it away!) The fabric seems pretty sturdy so that's nice and there's definitely room enough for my little girl and her twin brother (also a little over 3 ft- they can stand but barely and usually by leaning over). Cons: the mirror- uh no. You can't see anything in the mirror. And, while it stays on, it doesn't stay on well. The curtain also- it is mean to create a tiny little dressing area but it's so small that it's pretty unusable. I keep it on but it has never been used for that purpose. The window "shelf", which consists of a cardboard put into a sleeve on the window. The sleeve doesn't close well (Velcro but the cardboard is a little too big for the Velcro to come together). And I'm doubtful that it is sturdy. Also, a pro and a con is that it's very open. Two sides have just a mesh covering that can be tied back and one side has the open window. So, if your child wants privacy, this is not the tent to buy. Also, there is no floor, so it is very easy to move. It's ok because my little girl is pretty calm but when her brother is in there with her, I see the tent moving and flipping over once in a while. However, for its purpose, which is to give my kiddies their own space, this works pretty well! Personally, I like the openness and my kid doesn't mind and I really like the playhut, as does my daughter. And, I really love the pop up aspect. Seriously, it is ingenious! I've brought the Ninja turtles one for my son- hopefully, I'll like that one just as much. They love their own space where Mommy and Daddy aren't allowed!

Excelente Producto, excelente vendedor. recomendado. le faltaria una base o algo abajo pero eso seria alg extra que solo se me ocurre recomendar. gracias.

El diseño es muy divertido, mi hija de 2 años se la ha pasado muy bien con ella, cuando la movemos de lugar lo hacemos con muchísimo cuidado porque el material sí es frágil, pero hasta ahora después de 3 meses de sacar y meter al-del jardín no se ha roto. El único detalle que no me gustó es que el espejo no refleja más que la luz y distorsionada, no es posible verse en él, además tenía un adhesivo con instrucciones poco claras y creímos que tenía un plástico protector y que por eso no se veía nada, intentamos quitárselo hasta que nos dimos cuenta que el plástico al que se refería era precisamente el adhesivo (un papelito pegado con una nota).

No esperes una casita de plastico resistente, es de tela con alambres, es demasiado ligera, pero al mismo tiempo fácil de guardar y transportar, aunque para el uso que le dará uno con los niñ@s es mas que suficiente para que se diviertan y por el precio aun mas
