Genuine windshield/ freedom top seal to finally stop leaks
Finally sealed door leaks using this genuine gasket. Package was previously opened before shipping and still had shipping label. Was missing peel off adhesive seal cover but still worked perfectly to seal my roof. No instructions and there are 2 rivets that must be drilled out and replaced so be aware of that step but quality and fit was perfect.

Thank Goodness: Leaks Finally Fixed
Nothing beats OEM parts. This is an older revision of the part. (I think it is up to N now.) My 2013 JK has the "A" revision, so even if this is a few years old, it is a lot newer than the faulty revision used at the factory on my JK. It needs two peel rivets. (Not pop rivets.) Aluminum could introduce galvanic corrosion and the heads could corrode and start to leak, but steel could rust. Chrysler sells a pair of the exact size needed with steel heads that are painted to prevent any such issues. After some consideration, I opted to buy these, too. They were not cheap for two rivets, but they worked perfectly, and, again, OEM parts. Normally I would have just used the peel rivets I have in the shop, but these were an oddball size, too. So whatever. I am pleased with the results. The peel rivet part number from Chrysler is 6036678AA. Buy this gasket and pick up the two rivets and be done with it. You'll be happy with the lack of wet carpeting and mold smell after a heavy storm.

Fits Perfect
There are no instructions, but with common sense anyone can install this. If your header is leaking in the corners this is your solution.Things you need: a drill and bit 1/8"new 1/8" rivets (4)a pop rivet gunthere are 4 rivets that need to be removed to take the old gasket off. drill those out and peel up on the old gasket. clean the surface really well. use alcohol for the prep of the new gasket.place the gasket on the header making sure it is seated flush all the way down. then pull the backing of the adhesive on one corner and while pushing down, peel the backing off all the way down with the gasket still on the windshield.use the rivet gun and reinstall the 2 rivets on either side. (This is Very important and cannot be skipped) there is a metal plate in the gasket to prevent the rivets from pushing through the rubber.check your freedom panels and or soft-top for fitment and you are done.
