I purchased a set to open my MacBook Pro. I think I use maybe five of the bits and there are a lot of bits. Was even better. Is that sometimes I think for the most common bits they give you two of them. This also comes with different tools such as a suction cup to lift screens or say the bottom cover of a MacBook Pro. You can also find tweezers and shimmys to get underneath thin opening between parts. To me, the two most useful things are the driver itself and the magnetic placemat organizer. The driver and the bits are all magnetic so you will never have to worry about losing screws. It's a pretty strong magnet and there have been times where I've accidentally bumped a part of the electronics and the screw stayed on with the magnet. The magnetic organizer is even better because now whenever you remove the screws they don't go rolling every which way. You can simply place them on the mat and they will stay there. I haven't jostled the map very hard. However, I imagine unless you were throwing the, they would stay in place. Great kit.

Bought this for PC build and it’s got more tools than I’ll ever need. The driver is mainly plastic but it’s good enough for small screws. It’s built solid and you can still tighten the screws adequately. The spin wheel on the top of driver is very smooth and it’s a joy and comfortable to use. I’ve both the Ifixit kit. For VFM though, the xtool beats it. For looks, the Ifixit looks more professional.
