Delicious!!! The salt content doesn't negatively effect the marinade quality and that works well with the heat level. That being said, I love this stuff in my coffee. I love the ingredients mixed with milk and coffee.

Pride of India Tikka Curry Masala seasoning is delicious, authentic and a great value! I made a tikka masala that could have been served to me in any fine Indian restaurant. It’s so good, I am gifting jars to the cooks in my family! Shhh, don’t tell!😉

I wanted some pre-mixed Indian spices for when I'm in a hurry and don't have time to grind them. I saw this kitchari spice mix and decided to try it. WHAT I LIKE: -- the mix has good flavor -- not as bright as fresh ground, but still good! -- I liked that it included asafoetida and fenugreek, two spices I don't normally have in my kitchen -- it has a slight kick due to the brown mustard, and that's perfect -- you can make kitchari with it of course, but, as with any Indian spice mix, you can put it on literally any savory food and it will elevate the flavor! WHAT I DON'T LIKE: -- I should have bought a smaller jar. These spices are volatile and don't stay fresh for long (but that's true of any ground spice) -- I wish there were no SALT in this mix. There is 580mg per 1.5 teaspoon, and that's a LOT of salt. I had to cut back on the amount I added just based on this. This is my reason for rating it only four stars. Please, Pride of India, get rid of the salt!

Great authentic flavors.

This mix is not only good in milk or protein shakes ( chocolate with a bit of spice 😋) it goes good with orange juice for a quick orange spice tea. I use an electric milk frother to mix it in thoroughly.

I was surprised to get this 6 ounce bottle of spice blend after paying for 7 ounces. I see other reviewers have also been shorted in this regard. Not a huge deal but the seller should update the size. I recently made a batch of Indian biryani and found this product to be quite bland. It is mostly just cumin powder. It has the very uninteresting color of cumin powder, not the vibrant colors of turmeric and paprika that biryani is known for. There is also very little aroma from the cardamom, clove, or cinnamon. So basically this is just a slightly Indian version of cumin powder.
