Ugh! Disgustingly sour! 😩. This by far is worse than the "warheads". Will FORCE contorted expressions on face. DON'T HAVE ANOTHER ONE, and DON'T EAT A BOWL OF THEM AS A "CHALLENGE". Just make sure your cameras working well when you film it. One eaten is a one off. The sourness will wear off if you are worthy ⚔️🏆. Malic acid at it's best 👍

You know how when you buy a hot chilli sauce or some sour sweets which brag about how hot/sour they are, but in actual fact they're crap? Well, Barnetts weren't having any of that, these are singlehandedly the sourest sweets that have ever passed my lips, they have a warning on the back so you know they're good! Toxic waste? Pitiful. Warheads? Ha! My mother can finish those off. But in saying that, they also taste great, the first 15 seconds you'll be pulling all kinds of faces while you get through the sour layer, but the sweet underneath is also really good, the apple taste like apple, the cherries are nice, the cola is good too, the lemon... well, here's a tip, save this one till last, god damn. Only drawback? Well, you're paying £4.50 for a bag of 10 sweets. It's not great. But, its nice that a product actually does what it says on the packet, so maybe it's worth paying that premium. If you're the kind of mucker who enjoys their sweets unapologetically, mentally sour, you can't get any stronger than these. Give them a go!

These were very good. The flavour underneath tastes great and the sour on the outside is very strong. Some of the other reviews describe them as unedible but to be honest I think they are manageable for fans of the sour taste. Wouldnt eat more than 3 in a day tho or your tongue will be like sandpaper and your teeth like the walls of a 50 years smokers council house.

Personally, I am not a fan but I bought these for my husband and he quite liked them. They are EXTREMELY sour, so much so that he only had two all day and then felt like he had cracks on his tongue. So if you’re looking for something insanely sour, these are for you!

Bought these after seeing on a tv show. Was looking forward to taste these sweets and see how sour they were. Pretty disappointed as they weren’t as sour as they were made out. Nice sweets, but not sour

Packet too small but lovely and mega sour just right

These are sour covered once you suck the sour off its a nor.al hard sweet underneath which is fine. You expect that from most sour sweets. Note it does warn not to give to under 8 year old. I bought these as a fun sour challenge with my older children we had great fun and the sweets didn't dissapoint

I dont know where to begin, or even end...I love sour sweets and candy and have pretty much tried it all...but this stuff is LETHAL. First of all, this is a very small pack, but the sweets inside are hard and round and a bit larger than your typical hard candy. Different colours for different flavours I guess, not that you are going to taste anything but pure acid sourness, for context, I chose the red one... I couldn't even put it in my mouth for a split second...being the optimistic person I am, I thought maybe its just the first second and it will calm down, (like the toxic waste sweets) but nooo, I tried to lick off the sourness as I could not leave it in my mouth, but I felt like my cheek muscles started to spasm, I really wanted to finish the one sweet, I wanted to conquer it, but the sourness just went on and on, so i thought i would quickly chew it, but low and behold, i cracked it open and BOOM my whole face went into spasm as the sweet had sour white powder insde...I would live to regret this one red sweet...that one sweet peeled my tongue, and left blisters on the roof of my mouth, and I couldn't eat properly for a week, bonjela became my best friend. This stuff is acidic and lethal and I swear could probably descale the thickest limescale on earth, i threw the rest of the pack in the bin. Keep it away from kids if you do end up buying this, I can't imagine what it would do to younger more sensitive mouths.

I bought Barnetts Mega Sour Candy Fruits mostly out of curiosity because I kept hearing how sour they were, and yeah… they definitely live up to the name. These things hit you with a serious sour punch right away, way stronger than most spur candy you find in stores. That said, once you get past the initial shock, they actually taste really good. The fruit flavors are solid and not weird or artificial tasting. I like that the sour doesn’t just disappear instantly either it sticks around long enough to make it fun, but it’s not unpleasant if you like sour candy. Fair warning though, if you’re not into intense sour, these might be too much. But if you are a sour candy fan, these are awesome and totally worth it. I’ll definitely buy them again and maayyyybe just not eat too many at once lol

This candy is by far one of the most sour I have ever experienced. Got it because my nephew wanted to try it and we were pucker faced for a while.

Wow this candy is pretty sour, definitely stick to one a day, but it tastes great
