Remains a mystery to me ...

I am reading two of Michael Hone's books about homosexuality, and they are holding my interest. This autobiography totally escapes me. I will use the terms "disorienting" and "incoherent" to describe it. He is an adequate writer, and his books about the history of homosexuality are intriguing g. It is his own life that I can't wrap my head around.
