Is all of Omega-3 in phospholipid form, or is it in triglyceride form and and phospholipid is simply added?

No. This is a blend of regular re-esterified triglyceride fish oil concentrate and herring roe extract, and it doesn’t say how much of each, nor how much omega-3 from each as they are two separate ingredients. Most of the omega-3 in this will be from the fish oil, and the phospholipids from the herring roe aren’t attached to them. Total rip-off just because Nordic Naturals doesn’t or doesn’t want to sell krill oil.

Are the softgels supposed to be black in color?

How is this superior to krill? Is it more cost effective?

It’s not because it is simply fish oil 90% triglycerides, with added unattached phospholipids extracted from herring roe. Krill oil has 40% or more of its omega 3’s attached to phospholipids, this has none.
