George's Aloe Vera Supplement, 64 Fluid Ounce

This was much better than expected. It has no taste at all . I have used aloe for burns and healing minor skin issues all my life. As they say you may need to ask a Physician before trying it. I believe is the most safe way to calm a sensitive tummy and may help with digestive issues. The bottle said 8 ounces per serving . I’ve only tried it a few days. It is inexpensive . I keep it in the refrigerator. Will definitely repurchase. I would much rather use this before a Rx - just my preference. Hope this helps someone else. It is not like the slimy aloe straight from the plant !

I have tried many, many products aimed at helping with digestive upset for my cat. Her pain and suffering was so great that I thought I was going to have to put her to sleep. I went to multiple vets and had thousands of dollars worth of diagnostics done to try and find out why she was having acid reflux, crying and subsequently vomitting (endoscopy, xray, ultrasound, bloodwork, etc). One vet told me to just give her pepcid. This worked for a while, but then became completely ineffective after a while. The same vet then told me that she probably just has food allergies and would have to be on steroids for the rest of her life, and thats all that could be done, and prescribed different kinds of Science Diet (which we all know is actually a terrible food for cats with digestive problems). Well, what do you know, the steroids didn't help AT ALL. I tried probiotics of various brands for pets, I tried digestive enzymes, I tried many different natural products designed to help ease digestive / intestinal inflammation.... I tried a homiopathic vet (the only one in my area) and spent a few thousand more dollars rerunning tests and running other tests for pancreatitis, etc. I tried MAKING her food from raw meat to try and eliminate food allergies to commericial foods as a potential problem, etc. I TRIED EVERYTHING, but still my cat was constantly licking her lips, then crying in terrible pain and vomitting very consistently, and now was losing interest in her food and was losing weight and starting to look boney. I was determined to not give up on her though. I had just lost my wife to infection during a failed bone marrow transplant / cancer during all this, and was not about to give up on my girl. I stopped making her food and started getting her Natures Variety canned Rabbit formula. She loved the food but it did not seem to be helping her feel better, even though a lot of other people were having great success. I then found a site called wellvet dot com that said that Ulcinex (link at the bottom of this review) was very effective at repairing ulcers and the stomach lining in pets. It also said that it was very effective at controlling vomitting that occurs a few hours after eating, which is EXACTLY what was consistently happening, and no other product that I had found so far claimed to do same thing. I was skeptical as soon as it started talking about chinese herbs and such, but I figured it was worth a shot. I started giving this as prescribed from wellvet ALONG WITH Georges Aloe Vera juice, which is said to help a lot for acid reflux sufferers (I found a few people that said it worked great for their cats). All the while praying, within a few days I started noticing a drastic improvement. She was licking her lips less, and was able to relax for longer periods of time without jumping up in pain and crying. She vommitted once within a several day period. Several days later, NO MORE CRYING, and instead of hiding behind the bedroom door licking her lips the whole night, she started sleeping with me at night like she used to. Now, several weeks later, she is literally 90% better. NO MORE VOMITTING AT ALL, is in very little pain, VERY little lip licking and only very occasionally at that. She also gets much more rest, and has put on several pounds and is back above her normal weight and has a nice chubby belly. My cat suffered daily for 2 long years during this whole process before I found this product along with the Ulcinex. The aloe vera juice on its own didn't seem to completely do the trick, so I think its the combination of the two that is really effective. I only hope that no permanent damage has already been done, but now I have my cat back and don't have to suffer through losing a great wife and a great cat. If you have a cat with severe stomach issues, you owe it to yourself and your cat to try this along with the Ulcinex. It wouldn't hurt to get a great quality canned food like Natures variety either. I don't know what I can say I've been using this product for years and years! It is wonderful even my grandkids ask for it sometimes when their stomachs are a little upset ...taste like water we use it daily.

Just received today and who ever packed this product and my 2 digestive enzymes did a very poor job. Everything was damaged and the boxes were crushed and post man had to retape because the way the heavy bottle of aloe Vera juice was packed. I do like the product though and helps with stomach pain.

Please read my review, as I hope it helps others dealing with severe skin conditions. I hope Warren Laboratories stays in business for a very, very, very long time. My son has a severe peanut allergy, and apparently with allergies comes eczema (skin condition that causes open sores). We've used steroids with limited results, and we don't like using it very much nor does my son as it's a pretty strong medicine. For some reason, my memory was triggered and I remembered my Japanese mother growing aloe plants and using them on us when we had an injury or received a burn (happens when you grow up on a farm). I wasn't thinking of prevention, but healing his open sores that were getting pretty bad--on his arms, behind his legs, on his feet, and on his inner thighs. (He is entering his teenage years, and is obviously very sensitive about his skin. The kids at school always ask why he wears long pants, and not shorts like they do in school and after school). Long story short, I came across "George's Aloe" and thought what the heck, can't hurt. It's a natural product and worth a try. I also read that Aloe is a natural antihistimine. We've been using it for a week on our son, and the results are very positive. It hasn't prevented the outbreaks, but it has diminished them noticeably. I would say upwards of 80% improvement. The spring is the worst time for my son, and it's been very manageable. My wife and I have noticed a significant improvement in his condition and he drinks a small glass of George's Aloe every morning. I tried it, and it indeed does take like water. Read the directions, though, as you don't need much. I've since supplemented the 'internal' treatment with an external treatment of the actual aloe plant rubbed on the outside of his body (arms, legs, feet, etc.). You basically just cut off a very small part of the leaf, and it's a gel inside. I rub that on his sores, pimples, and hives and paired with the Aloe juice, has had a dramatic effect, a definite improvement for the better. My son is much more relaxed of late, and very happy with the results. It's not perfect by any means, but he itches a LOT less and he doesn't have the open weeping sores that he had before. Again, it's not perfect, but a huge improvement. I think for others in the same situation, it's worth a try. I would just make sure there isn't some sort of allergy to it--but I've never heard of an allergic reaction to Aloe. Finally, my wife has tried a lot of remedies on my son: lotions, aforementioned steroids, hot showers followed by vaseline to keep the moisture in, etc., and none of them has had the same noticeable positive effect as Warren Laboratories "George's Aloe". A very enthusiastic and strong 5 Stars for this product. I hope you find a use for it, too.

Great product could tell a difference immediately taking it for four days now will purchase again

I started out with leaky gut/ digestion issues. I read about George's Aloe Vera Juice and tried it. It helped alot. 10 years ago I was bitten by a Lone Star tick and got Alpha-Gal. It's an allergy to mammal meats and by products. Everyone reacts differently with triggers, symptoms, and severity of reactions, so it takes awhile to learn how it affects us individually. I read about so many Alpha-Gal people were suffering aches and pains like a truck hit them. I was grateful I didn't feel like that. I wondered if the Aloe Vera Juice was really working, since it tasted like water. I had tried another brand that tasted terrible and this didn't. No refrigeration required was a plus. Then for a whole month my George's brand was on back order. That's when my aches and pains kicked in like a truck hit me, and I knew how good it had been working for me! I take 2 oz in the morning and before bed. I love this stuff! Now I read it may help my itchy dog. We're going to try it, with confidence. They use the type of aloe vera plants the Road Runners go to for nourishment. Check out all the benefits of Aloe, it's amazing!
