If you are like me you have tried multiple brands to find the best deal. I have found the 3M brand super sticky notes are always the best. Can you find cheaper paper to make notes on? Yes, but will they stick anywhere you need them for as long as you need them to and be removable? Most likely no. These have the perfect amount of stickiness without causing damage to what you stuck them to. I find them way easier to use than some of the cheaper brands. I like buying the 5 packs because I can put them at all of my work stations so we have these every where we need them so anyone can take notes at any given time. I have found if you want them to work as intended just spend a little more on these ones. Yes, they do cost a little more than some of the "other brands", but when you compare what you get for that money these are way better. I purchased some plain white ones for this project, but they come in a wide variety of colors so you can use them to indicate different things.
