Worked straight out of the box, didn't even need the driver.
Really good product and I was connecting to a PLC that had sat in damp conditions unused for over ten years😃. Please note this is for Q series CPU, but an earlier one, say late 90's, early 2000's? It's the connector which has the plastic piece in the middle and 6 pins around it not the 11pin version for the FX series. It said I needed a driver but it worked straight off the bat for me by selecting the chosen com port of 3 from the drop down menu in GXWorks2/developer. NB don't forget to connect via rs232 option as it won't recognise USB due to the age of the PLC CPU. Allowed me to make online forces and changes as well. Good value for next day delivery, nearly a month wait on other sites.
