Minimal Smell - Not bad at all! Powder is starch!
•[HONEST PRODUCT REVIEW]• >• The PRODUCT! •< ▪︎ Six colors: pink, light green, dark purple, orange, yellow, blue! ▪︎Each grippy has 20 rows of 25 tiny tendrils that make up the "fuzziness" ▪︎Stretchy, squishy, bendy, 'silicone like' material >• THE GOOD •< ▪︎ 50 in container! ▪︎COLORFUL! ▪︎Soft! Fun! ▪︎Tactile Stimulation ▪︎Can DIY fidgets! ▪︎Versatile ▪︎ Nice to rub. ▪︎ Soft mochi squishy consistency. ▪︎ Can be bath toys! ▪︎ Good for people who need to pick, or pull on things. Good for sensory bins or fidgets collections. Multi purpose. Can put on a string, dowel rod, inflated with a straw, for different fidget needs. Can stretch over marbles. Stretches about an inch and a half to two inches in diameter. >• The Mindful Considerations •< ▪︎Can tear if not gentle, the 'spines' will snap if yanked too hard. ▪︎ DO NOT keep on fingers for extended periods of time! Will constrict blood flow! ▪︎ Will gather dust / cat hair. Wash in the sink with soap, towel dry and then starch with powder corn starch. This keeps the tendrils from matting together. ▪︎ Corn starch / starch after any damp exposure such as a wash, to water, or bathtub use! ▪︎ Light smell, not bad though like other reviews mentioned. ▪︎Different amounts per color! ▪︎Very slight oil material. Do not fling on walls or throw on objects susceptible to staining. Must powder first. ▪︎ Fibers / tendrils may get stuck - bundled up. Use a toothpick to get it unstuck then powder with starch. >• The Nostalgic •< ▪︎ These remind me of the blow up fuzzy arcade balls. Or the inflated fuzzy silicone animals. Has the same soft mochi texture to these items and made of the same kind of material. The also are the material as the stretchy monkey fidgit noodles.

Best I've found so far
I keep looking for grips to make it easier to hold my pens and minimize discomfort from arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome. These are the best I've found so far. They are indeed squishy, which means soft. They are also flexible enough that they fit over pens of different sizes and are reasonably easy to put on and take off. I greatly appreciate the extra effort this vendor made to help me find these! They did not come up when I searched for pencil or pen grips on Amazon.

stinky but good
Wow these really do smell terrible. I figured it was going to be a plasticy type smell but they kinda smell like dog vomit. The smell dissipates after a while though. I also don't like the starch powder but you can rinse it off. The actual grips work great though. I got them for my arthritis but they're also fun to fidget with and they have a nice texture.

5th grader with writing fluency impairment rates these 5 stars!
We have tried every type of pencil grip ever made for our son to try to make writing a little more bearable for him. He would get hand cramps. He said that these grips were his favorite because they were the most comfortable out of all the ones we have. I got a huge pack because they don’t last forever. Don’t leave them in a hot car. I don’t wanna say they are flimsy but they are made from a very soft material that just wouldn’t be so soft if it was a different material. So we have durable ones but they aren’t soft. I use these too now because they really do help with comfort. I tend to push down hard when I write and this keeps my fingers from getting too angry with me. The value pack we bought was the best deal on these that I found.

Great customer service and product
These squishy pencil grips are perfect for a kiddo struggling with a super firm grip. My son’s Occupational therapist recommended a large cushy grip and this fits the bill. I had a slight problem with my first shipment but they got right back to me (same day) and got a new product shipped out to me.

The cutest Pencil grip/fidget !
I gave these to my students who squeeze their pencils too tight. They loved them. They are super soft and squishy. Seems to meet their sensory needs as well as providing comfort for their fingers. I’m glad that so many come in the container because I have a feeling they won’t last long!

Didn’t know whether or not these would meet the requirements to fit over my loom knitting hooks. That’s what I wanted them for but I’m glad to say that they said they stretch very well. I know that they’re supposed refresh pencils but they can stretch very very wide. if you need them to I’m sure there is a breaking point though, but I do like them very much. They have made a very great grip for my hooks.
