Works great to hold up tapestries and posters

We used this product to hold various sized mirrors and small wooden plaques to a freshly painted wall. This is a five star product. I waited several weeks to give a review since so many seemed to thing that the product only worked for a short time. That said, it is now several weeks later and all of the mirrors we hung up on my daughters wall all still firmly affixed to the wall. After working with the product I am confident that removal will be as flawlessly satisfying. It is important for folks to understand that this product is NOT an adhesive, per se. You don't just stick them to the object then press them to the wall. It takes some pressing and turning and slowly "working it in to the materials as you press them together. Argue with me if you want but these things work well and are very inexpensive for what you get. Removal would be the same, I suppose. Maybe warm it a bit with a hair dryer and kind of turn and press it until you can easily pull it off. Great product. But I don't think I would hang anything like a larger picture frame or something with an uneven mount, I just doubt you would have the same experience.

Had used the original 'fun-tac' years ago. It wasn't very tacky and had long since dried out. I was dusting and actually broke something, and knew it was time to re'tac' some things. I found the loctite version here. This seems like the exact same product type, but new and improved and blue. It has excellent stickiness, is very malleable, and holds well to multiple surfaces. My only problem is, it's BLUE! So, on my curio shelf, I found it a bit hard to hide it while still situating the item to stick securely. Overall, it's an excellent product, but the original version was white. I think they should have considered a clear or less obvious color option, because it seems to me that the company expects people to use this only to put up posters, where no one will see the product.

Best sticky tack on the market. I have used this for years, reusable over and over and doesn't dry out nor damage walls.

I think it works better than the white versions

I tried to use it to hold a plastic floor protector down on a hardwood floor. After a week or two it started to move and the blue adhesive started to break apart . This work good for very very light projects. You might laugh but I have found this holds remote controls on a wall very good so the never get lost, or papers on a wall.

Works good. Make sure you clean the wall first to ensure adhesion. I would recommend only using this on walls with gloss paint.
