Maty's Organic Children's Mucus Cough Syrup 6 Fl Oz Thins Mucus w/Ginger, Thyme

Absolutely love this product! Nothing has worked for my 18 month old like Matys Organic Childrens Cough Syrup! I have tried everything on the market and this is the only product that has successfully worked on my daughter to give her a restful nights sleep! Others wear off within the first hour of laying down, which leads to a very tired night for both of us! My daughter enjoys the taste and will happily take her Matys in a sippy cup of water! Never do I have to worry about strategically measuring each dose and only being able to give so much. Matys is all natural, nothing in the bottle to hurt your little one and will safely and effectively work to knock that stubborn mucous out!

Update: they changed it again and took out the thyme! Not seeing the thyme and that was the only reason I continued to keep in house. Thyme has so many wonderful properties. Why do companies continue to lower quality and change formulas for the worse. Over it. Bring back the original formula! I had to change my review as Matys has changed the ingredients. By the way the description here on Amazon is showing the original ingredients. I received 2 that had Ivy Leaf and they took out oregano and thyme. I am absolutely disappointed and angry as I am sick of companies that have wonderful ingredients change the formulation to something that we cannot use. CHANGE IT BACK! You had something good with the oregano and thyme in it and leave out the Ivy Leaf. There is another popular cough/mucus/immune support on the market that also uses Ivy Leaf. We chose Matys because they didn’t and loved the original ingredients. Bring back the oregano and thyme version.

So my little has been using zarbees since she was an infant (she’s three now; almost four). She has reactive airway disease and often is inflicted with a bad cough especially around spring and summer time. Zarbees was fine and worked well but Maty’s has several ingredients that improve overall health that zarbees does not have. I will say my little prefers the taste of Zarbees. I imagine it is the ginger and clove that she is not a fan of, but she will still drink it. It works super fast and well as an expectorant. She immediately starts coughing up the gunk in her throat after taking it and the honey soothes. Just a great natural product that I love and trust. My only complaint is that if you don’t wipe the top bottle off after pouring some out it will drip even after you put the lid back on. And I worry that when we travel the lid will not stay secure. We have traveled with it in the past on a road trip and it was a pain. My suggestion to the company would be to please make the lid a child safety lock and make the top not as wide.

My babe (along with everyone else’s!) has been stuck with cold after cold this winter season. I ordered this as she started to show signs of one popping up, and it helped SO much. The last cold she had lasted 2 weeks, this one was gone in 3 days. I gave it to her every three hours religiously. She didn’t like the taste, so I mixed it in her smoothies or water. I just ordered more to have on hand! I also use a variety of other Maty’s products and am so pleased with all of them. Thanks for making a great product.

My 17 month old was diagnosed with Influenza & RSV in early February this year. With him being so young we were limited to a good cough syrup option that also had a natural, holistic approach. (When your already routinely administering Tylenol & Motrin for 5 days for a 103+ fever, along with Amoxicillin, the last thing you want to do is add another medicinal “concoction” for a little 27 pound body to process. I was beyond impressed with how quickly this calmed my son’s relentless hacking and put him at ease so he could actually rest! Thank you Maty’s for making such a quality product with whole food ingredients that are not only safe for kids, like my son but the whole family!
