KERAGEN - Brazilian Smoothing Keratin Hair Treatment, Blowout Straightening System for Dry and Damaged Hair - Forte, Sulfate Free - Eliminates Curls and Frizz, Medium to Coarse Hair (16 Oz)

My hair is constantly reverting back after a press out, sometimes within hours. Because of this I decided to give this a try and I’m so glad I did! I have coarse 3c/4a high porosity hair. When it is humid outside my hair reverts to curly everytime. However this product has already shown great results. My hair has been straight for the past 48 hours which is RARE for me. I have not washed my hair but I have taken a shower and still my hair is straight. I’m so happy with this! For the product I did buy their clarifying shampoo and I followed the instructions by keeping this product on for 60 minutes. PLEASE KNOW when you blow this out you MUST be in a well ventilated area because the FUMES almost knocked me out. But tbh it was worth it. I have tape ins in but because of the treatment you can barely tell where my hair stars and the extensions begin! I will be using this product again! I love it so far!!

I have 3c/4a hair (both patterns) - my last keratin treatment prior to this was over a year ago. This treatment was comparable to GKs old resistant formula! The video is from the following morning after my treatment with no products and no heat - I’ll update after my first wash. 1. Wash hair TWICE with clarifying shampoo to open the hair cuticles. I detangle with a wet brush during the shampoo, brushing from the ends to root. 2. Wrung out my hair. My hair dries fast so I didn’t towel dry. If your hair holds onto water then I’d pat down with a microfiber towel (making sure hair is still damp) 3. I applied the Keragen smoothing treatment with hands and then combed it thru with a detangling brush. I went over it with a fine tooth comb to ensure the treatment saturated all strands. 4. Left the treatment on for a total of 45mins (less time for less kinky hair, can leave on up to 60mins for kinkier hair). I purchased a steamer cap that attaches to a standard blow dryer and steamed for the first 15mins of the 45mins. 5. Used fine tooth comb to remove the excess!!! 6. DO NOT RINSE. Blow dried with a round brush dryer 7. Straightened hair at 410 degrees (lower temp for less kinky hair - temp suggestions on bottle). Made sure to pass the straightener 5-7 times over section of hair. 8. Did not add any additional products. Wrapped hair with a mesh cap and silk bonnet. Pros: hair is silky and after straightening, my hair didn’t have product/residue feel that other keratin treatments give Cons: there will be some fumes but I noticed they weren’t as bad as compared to other keratin treatments I’ve had in the past. I think what helped is that I applied the treatment using hands which cut the application time in half AND removing all the excess before blow drying minimized fumes/cut drying time significantly as well.

This is the best value for cost/results in home keratin treatments. Super easy to use. Tips: 1. Where gloves and avoid skin contact. 2. Does not automatically straighten hair as this is just one step of the process. 3. Like all keratin treatments, this product has fumes. Use in well ventilated area (having a fan blow towards you) 4. A flat iron with temp setting in degrees is helpful. Professional flat irons will get hot enough for better results) 5. For longer lasting effect, use only hair products recommended for keratin treated hair.

I just washed my hair after applying this product. I have curly/frizzy hair, I would say 3b. Overall I like the product. A few pros and cons. Pros: my is a definitely less frizz, which is what i was looking for. Less curly, more wavy. Shinier and more manageable. I dried it with minimal heat and the curl was definitely more relaxed, but not completely gone. Also my demi permanent hair color did not fade. Cons: The solution causes serious fumes when heat is applied. My eyes were watering so much that I had to take frequent brakes. I would reccomend drying your hair outside or at least close to an open window. It does contain formaldehyde.

It's super good! I get it done every 6 months and my hair is left super straight and silky.

Good and effective but why now the price is high than before.

A great product. It actually works and now I don't have to chemically treat my hair anymore as this Brazilian Blowdry does a similar job without it snapping off. So pleased and will buy again. Just a tip, open your windows as you should do when applying any Brazilian Blowdry as this is a salon product. Ignore any negative feedback. Just follow the instructions and it will work. My hair is so much better and smoother.

I love it. It didn’t damage my hair or my curls i used it on my hair and after a while the product went away and my curls were back.

The product is awful do not buy it it almost killed me It hurts even the throat It is toxic and cause suffocation it releases gases worst tear bomb I regret buying it
