DenTek Ultimate Guard for Nighttime Teeth Grinding

This product didn't live up to expectations. I followed their instructions twice, but couldn't get my teeth moulded. As a result, it slipped in my mouth and was totally unusable and didn't want to choke on it. I put it in the bin 30 minutes later.

It does not work as described. It does not fit, it does not match. The protective form prevents you from making a normal cast, because of what the whole product is simply useless, money thrown away.

You'll get third degree burns on your gums if you want it to fit.

Completely useless in my case, it's impossible to fit it to stay in place, it's so tiny

I’ve previously tried two different designs of night guard, both a full coverage custom fit design, and a size adjustable ready to wear design. The size adjustable design just doesn’t seem to fit my mouth very well and isn’t very comfortable. It doesn’t seem to stay in place very well unless I’m deliberately biting down on it (which is counter-productive if you want to train yourself to not clench your jaw while you sleep), and I would often wake in the middle of the night chewing on it because it doesn’t stay in place very well. The full coverage custom fit design stays in place much better without any effort, but it’s a bit bulkier and I think it has shifted the alignment of my teeth over time. My teeth now feel slightly sore after waking in the morning as if the custom fit night guard has gotten tighter over time, and the custom fit athletic mouth guard I bought around the same time a couple of years ago no longer fits my teeth. I figured that the partial coverage custom fit design might be the best of both worlds, and I was right. This partial coverage design is still custom fit so it stays in place by itself, but it’s also less bulky than the full coverage design. The connecting piece fits behind your upper front gums, so it much less noticeable than the adjustable fit design where the connecting piece fits in front of your lower gums, and it's more comfortable. Since it’s only partial coverage, I don’t foresee any issues with this design inadvertently adjusting the alignment of my teeth over time like the full coverage design. Overall, it’s a very comfortable design and allows me to try to train myself not to clench my jaw while I sleep so that I may not need to use a night guard in the future.

The procedure is easy to follow for the adjustement. Not disturb you during slipping. Good Product, I recommand It.

Buy a new one every year as I eventually chew through it. So so easy to mould. Best one I've found and won't buy anything else! Just as good as what you'd get at the dentist. Saved my teeth
