I use it for tea everyday. You can make it as spicey as you like. I usually cook 5 or 6 Tbs of ginger in 2qts water and mix with hibiscus and or Yerba mate or just by itself with a little water. Depends on the burn I desire! I hope this answer is helpful for you.
