I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of leather that Samsonite uses to make the black leather portfolio. It's well bonded and uniform. The label inside says the exterior is made of 90% leather, and the lining is made of polyester. I applied Saphir balm and then wax. The portfolio absorbs these well, developing an even shine. With a neat presence, this portfolio measures up to many luxury portfolios. Samsonite means business with this excellent product. I certainly hope that this portfolio can include more practical pockets to hold an iPhone Pro and a car key, so to make a statement of style. However, for serious business meetings, this baseline Samsonite portfolio suffices.

The name speaks for itself, Samsonite! Real leather not some pressed garbage that will fall apart in weeks to come. The writing pad inside can be replaced and the pockets inside hold papers very well. It is a must-have for any business professional.

High quality product that has lasted well. Much better than cheaper leather ones that eBay sells. A little expensive but you pay for the quality.
