Lifefactory Baby Bottle Nipple - 2-Pack

We have been very pleased with the entire LIFEFACTORY line of bottles, nipples and caps. We were nervous after reading some fairly bad review and my sister warned that babies don't always like certain types of bottles. But we plunged ahead and bought several bottles & nipples in preparation for our little one. Since we adopted, he is only bottle / formula fed, so bottles are very important to us. We love the life factory glass bottles and all the "accessories" have been great, too. The nipples are made of a high quality silicone so they will last. Our little one also likes the longer silhouette as he can latch on really well.My only complaint is that the stage is hard to see on the bottom of the nipple. We are just now ready to move to stage 2, so I'm worried it will be hard to tell them apart in the middle of the night...

The best! My two year old loves them. The holes in the bigger nipples were a little too big and the flow was too much.

The idea of silicone nipples seemed great to us, and we bought both stage 1 & 2 when getting ready for our newborn (We bought them with the Lifefactory glass bottles, which we are still using at 3 months). However the hospital provided us with enfamil nipples with formula, which our baby preferred. We made several attempts to switch her to the lifefactory silicone nipples, but she never got used to them. They just seemed too slippery for her to continue feeding, and she always grew fussy. We even changed to the stage 2 when we had to graduate the nipples at 3 months to see if she grew out of this problem, but alas, it was the same issue again. As for the issue for marking the nipples with stages, I did not think this was a problem. I never took out the stage 2 nipples out of their original packing until it was time to try them out, and I put the stage 1 nipples away in their original box. These are great nipples, our exclusively breastfed baby has taken to them and had no trouble. I do wish that Lifefactory would find a way to clearly mark the different stage nipples, it would make life much easier, but other than that I have no complaints. I love our lifefactory bottles!Edit: baby is now 10months, we have put away the stage 1 nipples now, did that at 9 months, an was amazed at how well these nipples have held up through 6 months of constant use! Top rack dishwasher every other day and they are still in perfect shape! And word on the street is that these are now labeled with stage 1 on them, perfect!!!!

I love the durability of these nipples and the fact that my newborn latched on right away. Being a big life factory fan, I really love them but the only problem that I have with them is that they do not come with the bottle rings. I'm not really sure if this is normal for all nipples, but it stinks to have to buy the bottle or another set just to get the ring. Other than that, these are easy to clean, limit gas for the newborn and seem agreeable in shape. Recommended.
