The demonstration video shows 4x6 photos being laminated. The results look terrible. The pictures have many creases in them. Is this true?

Hi Sharon, the video shows 'edge to edge' adhesive (either permanent or repositionable) being applied to the rear of the photos, they are not being laminated. The creased sheet on the front of the photos is removed before the photo is placed on the project. Hope that helps.

Would these make small decals for plastic hardhats, usually 3/4" by 1 1/2"? Would the stickers adhere to plastic? Can they handle water/washing?

Yes it would take the small decals. There would be no problem with the stickers adhering to the plastic. Use the 5 mil film as it is the strongest. When cutting the decals leave a small amount of plastic around the decal. I have never washed anything yet. But I used the heavy duty 5 mil for my daughter's first grade class name tags that stay on the desks all year. Students often have water bottles on their desks as well as juice bottles and I thought the heavy plastic would protect from spills. So far all is good. So I think it would work. Hope this helps?

Can the cartridges be exchanged back & forth (5" to 9") within the same project? Or is a cartridge done for if you remove it?

You can exchange back and forth from 5 inch to 9 inch. Cartridges can still be used after removing it.

Can you make magnets out of business cards?

Good quality

This is a great product. I bought my first XYRON in 1992 and use it to put wallpaper on dollhouse walls. I have never had any issues with it coming off. It is easy to use.

Not easy to deal with.

Very disappointed with whole experience as I was charged $120 for a product which should only have been $89. Was unable to get back on to supplier so wont use Amazon again for this type of product.
