Yes, SEM 39747 Multi-Purpose Panel Adhesive is a very strong bonding agent. I use it to bond fiberglass panels on Corvettes & to glue metal brackets in place.

I'm not sure exactly. Coverage of any liquid product can vary wildly depending on the actual job and the user. I personally don't get good mileage with anything! I do know that this goes a long way. What I might suggest is that you buy 3 or 4 from a seller such as us that will take unopened product back and return any that you don't use. Eric

Will it work for hood sheet metal to lower structure 1964 Impala

I used it to bond a metal panel to fiberglass in a 75 corvette and it worked fine. SEM claims it works well on metal, aluminum, fiberglass and sheet molded material. Follow the directions carefully and it will work fine.
