Arrived promptly, in tact. Pump is very quite & seems to do very good. I pumped 1 gallon of water using a 10 foot tubing (way too much but only for testing). According to 100 ml/min flow rate it should take around 25 minutes to pump a gallon. Mine took about an hour but there were mishaps (tube not submersed for a while, etc.) so I think it should work about as specified without interruptions. Am using it for wine making so wondering if tubing OK (everything is known to the State of California to cause cancer!) and whether there is any duty cycle on the motor as making 5 gallons of wine would take about 2 1/2 hours, if all went perfect, which might strain the motor. Great for wine making as all one does is put tube on one end and little stub on other goes into empty jug and does not touch wine preventing contamination and slow rate of pump and small tubing orifice provides minimal disturbance of settled layer. After pump was done I smelled the motor and there was absolutely no burning smell as that is a tipoff that a motor might fail. Also the motor was warm but not unduly hot so it seems to be good. I Recommend this product.

Needed one for a diy automatic aquarium dosing gadget. Worked for my need but the tubing is of smaller diameter and won’t fit normal airline tubing, so I had to 3D print an adapter for it to work. It also back siphons so I had to add an extra 1ml per dose depending on length of tubing.

I am a systems integrator so naturally my pool control setup is pretty custom. I started researching to find a cheap pump to do the chlorine dosing into my pool. A lot of the ones that forums suggested were $300 and I could not justify that much expense. I decided to take a chance on this one and I'm glad I did! It has worked flawlessly. Instead of running into the discharge piping of the filter I run via a small silicon tube directly into the pool. This pump seems pretty accurate for dosing and repeatable. The rate mine runs at is ~20sec per oz. I don't care if it takes 15 minutes to feed the 47 oz I need to dose and it may actually be a benefit to allow the chlorine to circulate instead of dumping it all at once. Tldr: I am glad I used this pump. It has worked great and it was super cheap. I plan on buying a backup one for the next pool season.
