The other end depends on the input of the amplifier your are using which could also be 1/4 inch or a home stereo unit will likely be rca 1/8th If you are trying to conncct audio to a computer that will be a 3.5 mm. Please note your question said speaker however it must be connected to an amp. The amp will be connected to a speaker.
