Looks Good, DID WORK, but you MUST think about what you are doing!
UPDATED 3/6/25: WORKED FOR ANOTHER YEAR'S HOLIDAY MONTH! ADDITIONAL TIPS- Be careful when detaching input/output tubing from pump as teats are very delicate- I snip off tubes with scissors then use nail clippers to cut off stubs. Remember to run pump on TEST to get all water out of pump before storing kit for long period of time.UPDATED 1/25/25: Getting ready to leave for the annual February at North Myrtle Beach, and I pulled unit out to set up for this year. Unit still going strong AND battery still showed full charge after being stored for a year (I still use power cord hook-up while using to be sure). See in the latest online photo that the control pad was redesigned for clarity and this is GOOD! I think that this product has a lot of returns due to buyers either not being able to set up or program properly IMHO! I have to reread the directions each year to do the set up and verify program settings before I'm sure! Don't want the wife's plants to die from lack of water. A happy wife means a happy life!!!UPDATED 1/23/23: Prepping for our annual February trip away. Unit still going strong and battery still had 80% charge from last year. INPUT teat snapped off when being disassembled last year. Super Glue fixed it, but be sure to use a probe inside it while glueing to make sure you don't block it up. Decided to carefully slice it off pump when I disassemble after using it each year. Still a good investment into the 3rd year.January 2021: Just bought this system so that my wife wouldn't lose her plants while we are away for a month. She didn't feel right asking a friend to come over due to Covid situation so I bought this system for her after comparing what is available on the market. Many of the reviews for the various systems are filled with dead plants, leaks, and failures, and I may know why. Since most of them come from China, the instructions are translated and leave a lot of confusion in their wake. I would have rated Assembly/installation higher if the instructions had been better. Here are the "Tricks" IMHO to making this system work:1. Unit came with a 70% battery charge in it. The USB cable supplied is WAY TOO SHORT and there's no charger. I added my own longer cable and USB/AC charger from a phone.2. Charge the unit to full charge. While charging unit will flash 7, 8, 9 (X10%) . Shows 10 when fully charged and connected by USB cord/charger to wall outlet.3. Read the instructions multiple times, then with unit in hand, do a dry run to program it.4. I then cut a short (about 18") piece of tubing, put it into a 2 liter bottle of water, sucked water into it and connected it to pump INTAKE, then standing at the kitchen sink I pushed test and pumped water for a while. Was impressed by the flow/pressure of pump. I then placed this in the side after connecting the intake filter (supplied with unit) to the tube still attached to the pump.5. Taking the roll of plastic tubing, I then unwound a piece long enough to reach/wind through all of the plant containers. I put a plant watering stake on the tube's end (path of least resistance) then working my way past each plant, snipped the tubing and installed a "T" joint that faced the center of each pot and continued to work my way to the last plant. CRITICAL: DO NOT PULL TUBING OFF OF FITTINGS AFTER INSERTION OR 90+% CHANCE OF LEAKAGE! WHEN YOU PUSH TUBING TO FITTING TWIST THE TUBE AS IT MOVES ALL THE WAY AGAINST PIECE.6. I had 9 pots so I cut eight 3" pieces of plastic tubing and inserted a watering stake in each one. I then attached to the open spot on each of the eight "T" fittings already in line. I DID NOT PUT STAKES IN POTS YET.7. Cutting a piece of tubing long enough to reach from the end of the first plant to where the bucket/pump would be located, it was attached to the end of the first "T" fitting in line, taken to the kitchen sink, and connected to the pump's OUT port. Once good flow from all stakes and no leaks were observed at the joints, the assembly was disconnected at the pump, taken to the pots, and the stakes were inserted into each pot's center.8. A large bucket was filled, the pump was reattached to the tubing assembly with the pumps intake line placed into the water and the USB charger/cord was plugged into 110v and the cord's end plugged into the pump AFTER the pump was clipped to the buckets side OVER the inside of the bucket (see photo 2). NOTE THAT THE PUMP IS HIGHER THAN THE BUCKET'S WATER LEVEL, LOWER THAN THE PLANTS/WATERING STAKES, AND THAT ALL TUBING CONNECTIONS (PHOTO 3) ARE OVER THE POTS SO THAT IF THERE IS A LEAK IT DRIPS ON THE PLANT. THIS SHOULD PREVENT ANY SIPHONING ACTION/SUBSEQUENT DAMAGE IF IT WOULD OCCUR.9. The pump was then run on TEST to verify water flow, lack of leaks, and total system operation.POSSIBLE CAUSE OF DRY PLANTS: The system's output is measured in milliliters (ml) TOTAL OUTPUT PER WATERING. THIS PUMP'S MAX OUTPUT IS 990 ml PER WATERING - 120 ml = 4OZ - SO IF YOU SET THIS PUMP TO 990 MAX YOU'RE ONLY PUTTING A QUART TOTAL INTO YOUR PLANTS COLLECTIVELY AT A TIME. I am almost certain that people who have complained of dry plants either didn't calculate the water amount/frequency OR the size of the water reservoir correctly. My wife determined that 4 oz per plant per week should be adequate BUT SHE HAD NINE PLANTS instead of eight and she wanted all nine watered so the amount is actually estimated at 3.7 oz per plant per watering. We will probably increase the frequency to 5 or 6 day intervals to over compensate.Well that's it for now. I plan on editing this review once we are back in March to report if the above worked.JUST BACK AND FOUND ALL PLANTS ALIVE & WELL WITH BUCKET EMPTY. Changed schedule to every 5 INSTEAD OF 7 days watering. BEWARE that you CAN'T regulate individual plant amounts so I found two small ceramic containers filled almost to top ready to overflow when I got back. Would have been my fault if it had happened. Other than that this system is definitely a buy in my book. IF YOU ARE GONE LONGER THAN A MONTH; SUGGEST YOU CONNECT MULTIPLE BUCKETS WITH LARGER D HOSES THRU SIPHON ACTION OR YOU WILL DEFINITELY RUN SHORT OF WATER AND PLANTS WILL DIE. BTW, YOU GET LOADS OF TUBING AND FITTINGS FOR VARIOUS CONFIGURATIONS WITH THIS KIT.Best to all and stay healthy!

Works well but the power cord is too short.
I set this automatic pump on my five-level plant rack. As introduced on the manual, I hang the pump at the top level and use the gravity to pass the water to the further, low pots. This works well. The pump can carry the water from the bottle on the floor to the top level. In the test, I don’t see leaking at the junctions after pushing the pipe deep on the connectors. The pipe is soft so then you can install the connectors with no difficulty. But I still use a lighter to carefully heat the pipe to make it plastic before installing. The watering spike has a good flowing. But the hole is at the end, not the body side. So it is watering at the root. I set 10 seconds per watering to avoid overwatering. The major drawback is that the power cord is too short. It is about only 10 inches. I have to purchase a long power cord to reach the power port. There is no plug in the package. You will need to use your own USB port plug.

Set with a bucket of water then took a 3 Week Vacation
My wife and I scheduled a 3-week vacation, and we worried about our indoor plants surviving while we were away, so I searched for an automatic watering system to keep them alive while we were away. I checked several brands, but most didn’t have robust scheduling abilities (we didn’t want to over-water so we needed to set a schedule for once a week for our time away, and because we have multiple plants, we needed to schedule the time length for each watering session…all of the automated watering systems kept missing on our requirements until I discovered the Kollea automatic watering system.I actually bought two as we had multiple plants upstairs and downstairs, and, after reading the directions, my wife and I set them up with a small bucket of water for each pump, attached the various hoses (with T connections to the provided joints so the watering hose could water multiple plants per pump, and attached the filter to the end water draw hose, and placed it in the bucket. After running a yeast to make sure the pump pulled, and distributed, the water to the various plants without leaking, we set up the schedules, a week before we left so we could make sure the scheduling and water levels would be sufficient. The test went perfectly so we felt cautiously optimistic our plants would survive while we were out of the Country…When we returned, there hadn’t been any leaks, and the plants thrived, in spite of the fact our home lost power for several hours (due to storms). Therefore, I can tell you that the Kollea automatic watering system was reliable, works as advertised, and was easy to set up. I highly recommend it.

Very Unreliable, and then it got worse.
The unit seems well made but there are a couple of fatal flaws and one place for improvement. The hose that comes with it is just thin vinyl aquarium tubing. It's tough to work with unless you soften the ends with hot water and it *never* lays flat. A quality silicone tubing would work much better. But, the fatal flaws... The first is that the unit never tells you when it's going to run. You set the volume and time from now and that's the last information you have. Which wouldn't be so bad except that it doesn't always run. It worked fine with test mode. It worked fine with a 1 hour and 1 day delay. But at 5 and 7 days it never ran. This second flaw makes it basically worthless except as a manual waterer which is what our house sitter is going to have to do while we're away.It really needs to confirm that it's been set and offer some kind of countdown. It has to run flawlessly. Trusting valuable house plants and orchids to something that may or may not work does not make any sense.Don't buy this.Update: 11/30/21 - Well, I took off for a few weeks and asked a neighbor to check to make sure the pump ran after one week. It did. Yay! And then it did again, judging by the water level. But the second run (500ml) didn't make it all the way through before the battery died. I came home to dry plants. So, despite what the instructions say, this needs to be plugged in all the time. It's just not reliable.

Cool contraption - I used it for adding a bit of water to my succulents
Unit was easy to program. Just set the amount (hit set) and the frequency (hit set) and away you go. It came with plenty of plastic tubing and enough of the watering stakes and joints for my needs. I was looking for something to water my succulents every couple weeks and this was perfect. The timer can be set at hour or day intervals.Few notes: make sure you cut the tubing long enough to give yourself enough length to route the tubing. I found it was better to "hide" the extra than to cut it too short because you were trying to conserve the tubing. Be aware of the water reservoir and make sure it's big enough for your needs. Not as big of a deal with my succulents, but if watering a lot, you'll need to make sure you have a big enough water reservoir so you're not constantly running out. Lastly, be aware that the water spike sprays a certain amount of water up, not just down the spike, so the during testing or normal operation, be aware that water might spray where you're not expecting it. If you're using the test mode, be aware that it'll keep running until you hit the button again, so if you're concerned with overwatering while testing, use a test pot or cup until you're comfortable where the water sprays.Overall, it's perfect for what I was looking for (very intermittent watering for something I forget on a regular basis), and I'm sure it'd be great for plants that require more constant watering. I did try using it with a mini-LED greenhouse planter for some winter vegetables, and while it works, the stakes are a bit too long for my egg cartons, but they are easily cut down if needed (or use bigger pots)

Set Up Takes Some Engineering Ability
First, the watering stakes arrived fused. Closed. Nothing could go through. At. All.Consequently, a trip to the local Big Box Hardware store is going to be necessary. There's a system called Mister Landscaper that makes all manner of watering heads & adjustable drippers that fit the tubing that comes with this pump. Turns out this is way better anyway. The watering stakes included with the pump are not adjustable in any way. Mister Landscaper dripper heads are very adjustable.Second, the amount of water you dial in on the pump has no bearing in reality to what will actually come out the dripper. I spent the better part of a day standing at the kitchen sink with things set up as I was going to have them, with the exception that the outlets were dripping into measured containers instead of plants, entering first one amount, then another, then smaller, then larger, then hardly any at all... The instructions in the box state that the amount you put in the settings is the amount the pump puts out. That amount is then divided into differing outputs on each nozzle depending on how many outlets, length of tubing and height of all the various components. I have 3 outlets, wanted each one to get ~60-75ml every 3rd day. That would be about 240ml on the pump. 1 cup being 240ml. I dialed in 240ml. Each of the 3 containers got about 200ml... I began dialing down and testing after each change. The output remained at 200ml per container until I got down to 180ml. After much changing and testing, I finally settled on 60ml every 3rd day. That delivered somewhere between 50 and 70ml to each of the 3 containers each time.Third... You darn sure better have those plants sitting in a good size bucket or the sink, because every now and then, out of the blue, with no warning... this little pump gets the bit in it's teeth and takes off running and delivers a full cup to each outlet. If you have your plant sitting in a cute little shallow plant saucer, that devil IS going to overflow.Fourth. The amount of water output at each nozzle will depend greatly on the relative height of the water source, the pump and the various plants to be watered, diameter of the outlet and length of the tubing. Brush off that High School physics fluid dynamics knowledge. Hydrostatic pressure and all that. After all that, I think this will be worth the money. The thing is inexpensive. You're not buying a highly calibrated, delicate instrument from NASA. I think it's worth the money.

Amazing results
I never post reviews, especially reviews with pictures, unless some thing is amazing or terrible. This is an amazing product. It was 100% worth the money for the results. I was just gone for seven days and was super worried about my tomato and brussels sprouts seedlings making it through. I set this up to water 200 mls every 12 hours so about 40 mL per plant twice per day and came home to significant growth/health. I’m also running water with tomato food/fertilizer and pesticide type solution in it and that doesn’t seem to be causing any problems. I just turned down the amount of water to 100 milliliters twice daily because the soil seemed a little wet but I didn’t come home to any fungus gnats. Also it is super easy to set up and probably took me about 30 minutes to really figure it out and it’s easy to adjust as well. Plus, I can leave it plugged in all the time. I will update this review if there are any issues/changes but for right now you should definitely give it a try.

Great product, received used item?
This product works great for what I needed it for! The only problem was that I thought I purchased a new product and it definitely looked like I received a used one... there were finger prints and smudges on the main product and the usb cord for it was so obviously used and not gently. I have many usb cords so I decided not to use this one cause it grossed me out. I would've sent it back but didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning it, and the product still works so whatever. I love the product so much though! It works great for my crested gecko terrarium. I wanted a system that would keep his tank moist and the humidity up when I have to leave for any period of time and this work perfectly!! I had to buy a pack mister heads so that it didn’t just run down the side of the tank but it’s ok! It is pretty simple to figure out how the thing works and the battery seems to last forever, I have been using it for 2 months every 10 hours and I’ve only charged it the first time. This is a great automatic waterer and I highly recommend it! Just wish I didn’t receive a used one!

Great solution!
Fantastic solution overall! It worked great while we were away (3weeks) and I came back to healthy, watered and more than anything ALIVE plants.I found reading previous detailed reviews very useful in terms of the initial setup. It’s relatively easy and self explanatory yet things like pre-planning your placement before cutting and installing the watering tubes, elevating the water container to a similar level to where your plants are, testing out the actual amount of water coming out of each watering spike aren’t mentioned in the instruction booklet. What’s worth paying attention to also is that the time duration on the display is accurate - 3 days means 3 days, yet the water quantity isn’t.I had to play with a few amounts to then decide what will be sufficient for my plants as for example water display set to 200 dispensed about 40-50ml of water out of each spike rather than what you may assume will be 200ml.I tested it as a few reviews mentioned it.All in all I’m really happy with the purchase and will be using it whenever I go away. What I’ve no idea about is how to effectively dry out the tubes after use without having to disassemble the whole thing which still wouldn’t really let me wipe out all the remaining water.

Inaccurate water delivery, very weak links, and algae clogs.
I've only owned this for about 4 months. About a month ago, it started delivering way too much water randomly. Maybe I have a bad unit. Hopefully, they will replace it.The plastic connecting joints are very weak. Once you attach them to the tubing, attempting to remove them will likely break them. Finally, clear tubing is a bad idea. It allows for algae to grow and eventually clog the emitters. I had to run bleach water through all the lines to clear them. I would suggest getting black plastic tubing and black pvc plastic joints to keep light out.

Very useful and good quality
Reliable gadget when leaving home for few days to one month basing on water supply reservoir. I used it for more than a months time with a big water reservoir and it workd perfectly and the plants were well watered.
