Review: Not a gimmick….it really works!! - I received this about 2 weeks ago I started taking the day I received. I have back pain in lower lumbar region with disc issues and bursitis in both hips. In my mid 60’s. I have had back pain for years. Let me tell you….this works! I immediately felt relief a few days later. I started taking just 1 pill a day. Ease into it kinda thought process. Now, one in the morning after eating and one at bedtime. I sleep far better now, and my pain level has gone from 7 to about a 3!!! With continuous use, and more walking, I hope to get to a lower number. This allows me to be far more active with way less pain and it’s only been a few weeks. I’m not paid for this or any review. Honestly, buy this and give it a few weeks. Only negative is the price. But, it does work and I do not need any prescription pain meds. So, I call that a WIN! Zero side affects from taking is also important to mention.
Review: Great Product! - For over 20 years I have suffered from knee pain. It came to a point last March that the pain and swelling in the knees was so bad that I could barely walk and went to Urgent Care. The doctor ordered an MRI of one of the knees and they told me I had osteoarthritis. When the pain started radiating down into the calf, I called my family doctor and he sent me back to the Urgent Care and they found a blood clot and put me on Coumadin and Lovenox blood thinners. I had a reaction to the Coumadin and they changed it to Pradaxa. I continued to have severe knee pain and I couldn't go up and down stairs at all. I went to the orthopedic surgeon after a month of suffering and he said that the only thing he could do was give me a Cortisone shot in the knees. He was hesitant to do it because of the blood thinners, but I was in so much pain I insisted. It gave me some temporary relief that lasted about a week, but then the pain and swelling came back. I was watching YouTube videos about health and one of my recommended videos was by a Korean Holistic Doctor. She recommended Turmeric. I use a lot of Turmeric in my food, but she recommended this Curcumin product. I decided to give it a try and ordered a bottle. I started taking two tablets four times a day. In a matter of three days the swelling started to go down and walking became tolerable again. I was able to walk my dog and go up and down the stairs. Because I was taking so much I ran out after two weeks. When I ran out the pain and swelling came back after a few days. I ordered a second bottle and it took five days to come. As soon as I started taking it again the pain and swelling reduced again and went away completely after about two weeks. I now take two tablets twice a day and I am a happy dude. I have used everything that came down the pike, creams, oils, poltices, pills, supplements, everything. Nothing has worked like this did. The only downside is that it must be very high in beta carotene because I got something called Angular Chelitis when I was taking high doses. Painful cracks in the corners of the mouth that are caused by too much Vitamin A. I used zinc oxide on those (baby diaper rash cream) with good relief. Now that I'm taking a lower dose, that is no longer a problem. I strongly recommend this product. You will start to see improvement in 3 to 4 days, but complete relief from your pain will take several weeks.

**Q: How does this compare with curcumin k with bioperine black pepper extract?**
A: Curcumin K2 takes the traditional approach to a curcumin supplementation by providing curcumin extract powder (1330 mg) with 20 mg bioperine (black pepper extract). While black pepper extract can help increase bioavailability, it unfortunately can also act as an irritant to the GI tract, causing stomach discomfort. There are various differences between this product and our unique formula. Rather than using a unilateral, dry delivery method to address issues of curcumin bioavailability and absorption, we have chosen a more comprehensive and healthy approach. The Curcumin form we use is much more potent than the standard curcuminoids out there. It is called tetra-hydro curcuminoids (THC), which curcumin already converted to metabolite form, so it is ready to be absorbed much more quickly than regular curcumin extract, and less of it is eliminated as waste. Also, since curcumin is fat soluble, we provide the needed fat source by suspending our tetra-hydro curcuminoids in black cumin seed oil. In addition to increasing bioavailability, black seed oil itself provides many health benefits (such as responding to inflammation in a powerful and healthy way and exhibiting strong antioxidant activities). Not only do you get increased bioavailability and the double whammy response to inflammation and oxidative stress provided by this powerful duo, but also the added absorption-boosting benefit of Astragin (a combination of Astragalus and Ginseng) that has been shown to increase absorption by 92%. We top it off with 100 mg of ginger root extract. This truly comprehensive list of ingredients, all working cohesively together, are wrapped up nicely in a tapioca, vegetarian soft gel for easy transport and delivery whenever needed.

**Q: I'm on the fence about one of the ingredients in this product. carrageenan. thomas delauer states that carrageenan actually causes inflammation?**
A: Due to a temporary supply chain shortage, we used carrageenan for a while instead of our original tapioca formula for our soft gels. Although we’ve since returned to the use of tapioca now that the supply chain issues are resolved, we never used the denatured form of carrageenan (which is actually called poligeenan, and is the substance that causes inflammation). There is some confusion in health communities regarding these two substances, since there hasn’t always been a term to differentiate between the two. But in order to convert carrageenan to poligeenan, you’d need heat and acid levels far in excess of what the human body can produce. Though we used the technical term “carrageenan”, the substance we used to thicken the softgel enclosure that holds the curcumin/black seed oil emulsification, is red algae extract. It’s perfectly safe and does not cause inflammation, All that being said, we have gone back to using tapioca in our clean, vegetarian soft gels.

**Q: It says 30 day supplie, and 2 pills are a serving size  so do you get 60 pills per bottle?**
A: Yes, each bottle contains 60 soft gels with the recommended serving size being 2 soft gels per day. This means each bottle is a 1 month supply. A good ingredient is when it's tested for certain levels of actives / nutrients. An ingredient stamped organic can have less active / nutrients if its not standardized. Standardization is key. All products are tested for ingredient input, heavy metals, and microbials.

I am going to be very honest. I really like this product. I take "one" after breakfast. As soon as I take it, my mind is awake and clear, my mood is leveled too. I feel this product acts as a mood enhancer. I have read too that curcumin does help with mood. I have read one review that the pills gave this person heart palpitations. I have been taking the pills long enough to know, sometimes it really does make you feel a bit frantic, it depends on the day and your stress levels. And for that reason I do not take 2 pills a day as suggested. I do not take it everyday. (I gave this to my husband one day, and he was a bit more stressed than before taking it because he had a webinar that needed to go well. After that, I decided not to give it to him again). When I don't take it, it does feel harder to get through the morning. Like a detox, but I try to work through my days without it, trying not to rely on it. For my body, sometimes I take it and still feel the pain is there (mostly hips or my lower back). The longer I take the curcumin day by day, the less I feel the annoying inflammation. It does help me move better and stay focused when I am at the gym, as curcumin does ease the inflammation in my body as it should do yours. It just depends on the person. In addition, if I am really tired and in the middle of I still am tired, be careful to take the curcumin, it might leave you feeling tired and cranky (it did for me one day). It's just depends. It is just the way this product works.
