Maui Moisture Flexible Hold + Coconut Milk Curl Foam Mousse, for Curly Hair Styling, No Drying Alcohols, Parabens or Silicone, 8.5oz

I love this mousse! I've been using Herbal Essence Toussle Me Softly mousse you YEARS (2+ decades?)! They quit making it, but I'd hoarded enough cans to last until a few weeks ago. I've tried many mousses but none have come close to the Toussle Me Softly. I went to Reddit and the Maui moisture mousse was recommended as an alternative to Toussle Me Softly! I applied the mousse and let my coarse, wavy/curly hair air dry and my hair is soft - no crunch, no sticking together, but also no frizz. There's no scent (of get compliments on the scent of the other), but this is amazing. All others I've tried ashtrays leave my hair frizzy, but this is great!

I will definitely be buying again! I’ve already told my coworkers about this product and they will be trying it. I love how lightweight this product is and it still holds the curls. It smells amazing!!! I’ve tried so many other products even the pillow soft curls which does not smell good. The other products either leave your hair crunchy or smelling weird, greasy or frizzy and this product does none of that. The quality of the ingredients definitely shows. This is my hair on day 3 and all I do is spray it with water on day 2-3 and scrunch. I don’t feel the need to continue to add more product on day 2+ because it lasts! And it doesn’t make my hair frizzy. I have wavy/curly hair and all the other products I’ve tried weigh my hair down and leave my curls flat and sad. My mom has super curly hair like coils of curls and she loves this product. This is my new go to product from now on. I can’t recommend it enough

Is extremely moisturizing and smell smells really good, I like this product. I do wish I had a little bit stronger hold, but I do like the film.

In extremely humid 100+ degree weather the curls held and frizz was nonexistent. I slept without my silk bonnet and even then I still have very defined curls where usually mine fall out when I do that. My hair doesn't even feel stiff or dense with the product, I am more than pleased with this product and will continue to use it moving forward.

I have medium-long 2C/3A (I think?) curly hair, and since I had a hysterectomy three years ago, my formerly obnoxiously-thick hair has been thinning. I was using a thickening mousse that I ADORED, but it must have been discontinued, because I'm finding it here for $85 now (instead of $18, LOL). So I have been on the hunt for a mousse that thickens and keeps whatever texture I'm going for (curly, wavy, or straight). The reviews for this looked good and the price was right, so I went for it. I'm giving one star because I have to, a second star because I'm sure the aloe vera and other herbal ingredients are good for my hair, and a third star because it smells tropical and heavenly. The cons are that it leaves my hair sticky and tacky and it does NOT define and keep my curls. Very disappointed. I'll still use a bit here and there for the hair-health and scent benefits, but I'm amazed that so many curly-haired folks loved it and I didn't. Eh...give it a try? The price and scent make it worth trying, I guess, so see what you think?

This is my first experience with this particular foam mousse. I have hair that gets weighed down very easily with any heavy product so the heavier mousses don't work well for me. I ordered this one because I recently purchased their lightweight hibiscus hydrating shampoo and conditioner and really like them. This foam mousse had so many rave reviews that I had to try it. Seems it's been out of stock everywhere for a very long time. I'm happy to say it was worth the wait. I really, really like it. It seems to really bring out my natural wave pattern and I've even noticed a few large spiral curls that weren't obvious before. It's a large bottle at a reasonable price. I'm so glad I went ahead and ordered 2 right off the bat.

Arrived very quickly. Well packaged. It’s the first time I’ve used this product. I’ve got type 2a hair and it makes my hair curly! It smells nice too. Will be buying again!

Love how it kept its promise, of maintaining curls for dry hair and say it off @nikkinelms IG. Unfortunately as shown in the pic, packaging didn’t travel well and half the bottle got lieaked while in transit. Can I suggest the brand taping the pink boxed area to prevent any leakage during delivery?
