Recommended RAM for Dell XPS 8930. Dell limits the memory’s speed to 2666mhz. This is the fastest OEM recommended stick for the Dell XPS 8930 machine. Many sticks that have a higher rated speed actually have a low native speed (2133mhz) but are overclocked. The dell XPS 8930 will only recognize the native speed. This is the fastest memory I can buy and works flawlessly with my Dell XPS 8930. It’s also cheap.
