I have a 2015 VW TDI Jetta. After replacing the plastic heater core quick connect fitting 3 times. I found this Aluminum heater core quick connect fitting on Amazon. This part was for a different, year, make and model of vehicle. However, after carefully filing the inside locator groove I had a perfect fit.

I was refreshing my cooling system with all new parts and figured, I would try to elminate, as much plastic failure prone parts as possible. These showed up on my search and were very affordable on Amazon. I was a bit wary, about the quality of these and I have tried various brands of aluminum cast upgrades to VW cooling system parts. The quality control, has been a issue with a number of them and in this case, they seemed ok but I did clean up some rough areas and smoothing things out with a die grinder, 3M roloc scotch brite discs, a countersink drill bit, a hand file, scotch brite pad and fine sand paper.After comparing the original VW plastic connectors to these; I noticed the steel retaining wire clips, seemed thicker and less prone to bending, so I swapped those over to the metal parts. Then, I noticed the rubber seal quality; didn't seem, as good as the oem VW versions, so I swapped new ones over as well.The install went fine, while snugly fitting; I was able to get them on and I have not, had any coolant leaks since the install. So, these seem to be of usable quality but if you are detail oriented, you might clean up some of the rough casting areas and swap over, the original vw retaining wire clips and replace the o-rings with oem or genuine vw seals, for good measure! A inexpensive and solid upgrad with some parts swapping and new seals! I recommend these; as I have seen the original vw plastic ones crack and leak, as they get old and the plastic deteriorates.

...I got these for an 03 Audi Allroad, I'm definitely putting them on my TDI also these fit perfect and are very easy to install with a good clamp, no more discolored lines blowing up on a spring afternoon with these types of fittings.
