One of my best buys ever!
Great product! Wear them all the time in the winter during the day and to bed as "pajamas". Comfortable, fit great, do not collect odor, keep my legs warm but not too warm.

Well made, warm, good fit, cozy
It's really nice being so toasty warm and feeling so cozy like I'm in my pajamas when I'm out in my work clothes. Super soft 100% merino wool thermals feels so good and soft against your skin. Very functional and I really appreciate that they're not too loose to be baggy and not too tight so the fabric doesn't pull on my leg hairs and is not itchy at all. I didn't know how warm they would be and considered the 250 gm. but I'm really glad I got the 320s because they're not too warm for up north where I am. I do have several shirts of different weights so I can layer to whatever warmth I need and stay warm with just a heavy sweatshirt over them in the northern winter. That's a lot of great value for such reasonably priced, sturdy and durable feeling, odor free, 100% merino wool! I highly recommend merino.tec 320,100% merino wool thermal base layer. You won't be disappointed!

Warm, and Good for Layering, and Great for Cold Rides!
I picked up the medium black 250 and it’s been perfect for cold weather riding and chilly workdays. I’m 5'10" and 180 lbs, and while the fit is a bit loose, the length is perfect. After 2 years of regular use, it’s still going strong—just a minor hole at the ankle, easily hidden by socks. Pros: ✅ Great Cold-Weather Warmth (250 Weight) – Warm enough that I haven’t needed to upgrade to 320 ✅ Ideal for Motorcycle Rides & Cold Work Days – Keeps me warm without bulk ✅ Socks Are High Quality – Cozy and well-made ✅ Durable Over Time – Still in good shape after 2 years Cons: ❌ Slightly Loose Fit (Medium on 5'10", 180 lbs) – Not overly baggy, just not snug ❌ Minor Wear – Small hole near ankle, but nothing major Final Thoughts: Whether you’re riding in the cold or braving freezing temps at work, this base layer does the job exceptionally well. Warm, breathable, and built to last—an excellent investment for cold-weather comfort.

Happy customer.
I've been wearing this merino wool Base Layer and it's been awesome—especially when that unexpected snowstorm hit. The 100% superfine 17.5-micron merino wool is super soft, never itchy, and doesn’t feel heavy or bulky, even after a full day out. The warmth is impressive, and I love how the wool's moisture-wicking keeps me dry and comfy no matter the conditions. The fit is just right, with no bunching or overheating, which is a big upgrade from regular cotton. The packaging was actually pretty cool, and the included merino hiking socks are a nice extra. My feet was dry by the end of the day. My only hesitation is about the care instructions—it says to hand wash and lay flat, but I’m tempted to try the washer to see how it does. I liked my Smartwool before because you could just toss it in the washer, but that was only 81% wool. Overall, I'm really happy with this one! I bought 2 more.

Warm and comfortable
Nothing better than wool. These bottom pants are perfect. They don't bunch up. Comfortable when sitting or walking. Wool makes them warm yet breathable.

Best long johns I've ever owned !
The Merino Wool Base Layer Mens Bottom Pants are very warm, soft and comfy. I bought the Heavyweight, 320g bottoms, and I was worried about them being too thick, they're not that thick at all, they are perfect, very, very comfortable and warm. I was golfing with them in 40 degree weather with 12 mph wind and my legs were not cold at all, plus they were not too warm either, actually just right. I didn't where anything but a t-shirt, polo shirt, and light wind proof Foot Joy golf jacket on top, but my chest and arms were not as comfy warm, as my legs were, even though I was wearing thin golf pants over the Merino bottoms. I live in a cold, northern, climate and have bought many, many, different types of "long Johns" and these are by far the best I've ever bought. When it comes to bottom layer long johns, I think they should be snug, but not too tight, I have a 33 inch waist and a 32 inch inseam and their medium size fit me perfect!

Good product to wear to keep warm
Ordered a size up to accommodate any shrinkage that might occur from washing and so far so good. Felt great without any itching. Light enough to wear under jeans or hiking pants when the weather become a bit too cold.

Comfy Warmth
The only way to know if this garment is comfy, warm, non-itching and fits well is to ... wear it. I did exactly that shortly after I received it. I wore it for 3 straight days. I notice the top is pilling a little bit (what else should you expect from wool), but the top and the bottoms held up to one cycle in gentle wash. The garment instructions that came on a printed card with the piece say something a bit different from the instructions printed on the garment. For example, the card instructions say NOT to place in the dryer, but the instructions on the piece itself say "Turn inside out. Machine wash cold on gentle cycle with like colors. Lay flat to dry recommended or machine dry on low heat. Do not bleach. Do not dry clean, Do not wring dry." So it seems they don't recommend using a dryer, however a fluff cycle in the dryer is the best way we know of to get pet hair off... so that's what we opt for before - or after - laying it out flat to finish dry. I do notice that the tag (which I summarized above - and have included a photo of) is likely to come off... but those tags are often a comfort nuisance. You DO need a magnifying glass to read that tag! I also notice that the pieces we received were made in China (PRC). The fit is good, comfy, and just like the top it's warm, non-itchy with no abrasive seams to irritate my skin. We all have probably had an experience of getting a garment with a tag that is so annoying that you want to rip it off ASAP - either because the tag itself is scratchy or the sewing holding the tag to the garment is obnoxious. This tag is long and thin, but not annoying. How well it will hold up to use remains to be seen... but I don't see anything that makes me think it is likely to fall apart or get threadbare easily. Indeed, the best thing I can say about this garment is that it is MORE comfortable AND warmer than the cotton long johns I have. Cotton is pretty miserable thing to have next to your skin in the cold when you sweat or it gets wet. All the pieces I've purchased so far come with a free pair of Merino socks. The socks are not very thick, but they do seem ok.

Parfait !
