Useful Toilet Seat for Remote Area
Perfect temporary use for a remote area toilet. Fit very well on a 5-gallon bucket and was sturdy.

Not ideal, but it works
This is very difficult to fit on the 5-gallon bucket. After a few days, it cracked when I shifted my weight a little (129 lbs). I used black duct tape to cover the crack so we wouldn't get pinched. I ended up putting the plastic bag OVER the seat, to avoid struggling to put the seat back on every time I changed out the bag. This makes it necessary to change the bag more often, because if it's too full, it will be difficult to remove it through the smaller space the seat creates. Update: I bumped this up from 3 to 4 stars... The company offered me a full refund. I chose not to take the refund because, in spite of the glitches I ran into, I feel that the seat is working out okay for us. I think it was worth the money I paid. I also want to add: I use 2 bags OVER the seat, one inside the other, mainly to prevent possible tears when removing the bags through the toilet seat opening. Then I reuse the outer bag for the next time, with another inside it. And instead of tying the bag onto the seat, I use some 7" long elastic file bands to secure it. They stretch well enough to put on and take off easily. I also cover deposits in the bag with cedar shavings each time, to mitigate odors.

Good thing to keep on hand
Simple to use on a bucket. Very helpful during power outages if you have a well. Worked fine for my camping trip.

Far more comfortable than expected!
We thought this would be wimpy, flimsy, and cold...it's actually comfortable to sit on! Even the grandkids like it; they'd rather do their business in the bucket than in a flushing toilet and ask to use it even when we're not camping or RV'ing. Kids today. Easy to snap on by laying on top then finding the edge of the bucket with your fingers, then pushing down till it pops on. It's a little harder to remove and tricky if the bucket has anything in it so the best way to get it off is to hold the front down as you pull up on the back 'corner' of where it hinges and it just pops off. Great little product and who knew it'd be so popular with the kids!

Good when you’re in a pinch to take a pinch
Fits well on a 5 gallon bucket. The seat did get a little crack towards the back of the ring. I wouldn’t say it’s durable.

AWESOME SOLUTION WHEN THERE ARE NO BATHROOMS AVAILABLE...
This works if you go camping and I used it during the Pandemic when all the bathroom rest stops were closed, had chains across their entrances and were all locked shut. I was really happy to have this or I would have had a big problem as there were NO bathrooms available at the rest stops and I went all the way across the US with ALL the rest stops locked up tight with chains across the entrances. I just got bags that fit into the bucket and voila - I had a toilet when there were NONE except for my portable camping toilet. There were bathrooms available at the gas stations but sometimes it was a l-o-n-g drive between one gas station and the next in the middle of nowhere.

Looks good and seems sturdy.
This toilet lid just arrived. It looks good and was easy to install so I am leaving a review based on that only. The material looks sturdy and the design looks comfortable and is what appears to be an adult size. The lid snapping onto the bucket very easily. For the money, this seems to be a good value.

For portable comfort using a bucket as a toilet it works for me . If buying a complete portable toilet is a bit too expensive for your wallet , then this works best . It fits snuggly on a 5 gallon bucket rim and yet is easy to remove when emptying it . Lid closes to eliminate odour too. I use it for camping and fishing trips .
