Reluctant fan
Told myself it wasn't worth the money. It is- needs very little heat and disperses it across the cooking surface magnificently. Needs you to learn how to get the best from stainless cookware (and maybe a spot of toothpaste to restore the gleam!)

Pan warped within one month of use - used 3 times only
I bought this pan expecting it to be the very best in the business, I do a lot of research before buying it, I’ve used it 3 times. I’m semi pro chef and know what I’m doing. It’s warped in the middle which means the oils only sit around the edges - so your food burns if you cook in the middle. Only noticed just outside of my return window by one week - very upset

A good size with manageable weight. My first stainless steel pan as I have a Hexclad collection, missing the 10" pan. Like that the lid is also stainless steel as I dropped & broke my 12" Hexclad cover and now a bit wary of glass. Getting the hang of cooking without non-stick. Use it for cooking meats like striploins, salmon, prawns and scallops.

Was held up in customs, but well worth the wait. Have already used for steaks chops and delicious gravies. Excellent buy

I did a lot of research before ordering this and the D3 is a far better value than the D5. Overall, this outperforms it and also does in the pricing category too! Clean up is simple using "Bar Keepers Friend". You can make this pan pretty much non-stick by following this easy technique: 1) put pan on Med/High heat for a minute or two 2) flick a few drops of water into the pan, if it rolls around like mercury droplets, it is hot enough. 3) remove from heat for 30 seconds or so 4) put high heat oil (Canola or Avocado) onto thickly folded paper towel and rub all over pan surface (if smoke starts, let cool a little longer) 5) once coated, turn down heat to Med and put pan back and add 1-2tbsp more of same oil. You should now be able to cook and food will not stick. Clean up is a breeze! I love this Alclad pan!!

Great pan to cook and fry and food tastes better when cooked in this pan. You need to learn to use it. Get the drop of water to slide then put the heat down, then add oil and then cook. Any other order will make a mess for which you will need elbow grease and bar keepers friend and scotch brite to get the stains off. I did not put the heat dow and the walls were full of black burned grease spots and it cost me 20 mins of cleaning. The good thin is it can be cleaned. It is a great investment and there are many youtube videos that will teach you how to use it and clean it.

This is a great pan I have not found comparable in feel, weight or even distribution of heat made in Australia yet. It is non stick if you know how to use stainless steel. I have had this pan since Jan 24 and used it daily and still looks great bar some scratches (it’s SS it will scratch with use) but cleaning is simple just use normal dish soap after each use and then each Sunday I do a deeper clean with Bar Keepers Friend (cream or powder both work fantastic for stainless steel) to keep it shiny. I do recommend researching how to cook with stainless steel as most comments re the non stick are simply from people not knowing how to cook with it.
