I love my new Panasonic Lumix camera. However, what I don't like about it is that it does NOT come with a separate battery charger. I have always had two batteries for my point and shoot cameras so that I can change it at a moment's notice on the road. If you depend on the original battery alone, you have to plug a cable into the camera to charge it. That is not convenient for travel or most other uses you might have to a smaller camera! This battery set comes with two batteries and a battery charger. By the way, you can also charge the original Panasonic battery on this charger. Both batteries work great, as dependable as the original OEM battery. A second Panasonic OEM battery costs $45, battery only! This set is such a deal (so much less than a single OEM battery), especially since it comes with a charger. I highly recommend this!

I am not a fan of batteries. I don't trust them to last as long as I need them, and thus always carry spares. One battery for my camera was definitely not enough (I had 4 for my previous canon camera and was bummed I couldn't use those). We were heading on an almost 4 week Baltic trip with tons of photo ops and I wanted to make sure I was covered, as well as to have wall charging so I purchased this package. The charger works great. It charges fast enough. My original Lumix camera battery takes about double the photos on a charge, which isn't really a surprise. I would use the BM, then the original, then the next BM as backup but rarely needed it. I rotated and charged batteries every night as needed. My real issue is with the fit as was mentioned before. The original camera battery snaps in and fits very snugly. I have to pull it out. It also charges easily. The BM batteries are very loose. No snapping in. They even fall out depending on the direction of the outlet. Someone mentioned using a shim to snug it in but why should we have to? When I put the BM battery into the charger the charger says green (orange with the original and turns green when charged). If I press down the light goes orange but that is because of the bad connection, than when I let go it is green again. In comparing the two, I see a minuscule difference in size. The Lumex is a tad thinner and more straight in the case. It must be a little longer in order to catch and hold. I also have a problem getting one of the BM batteries out of the camera. It just doesn't fall or pop out far enough to grab with my fingers as the others do. Hmmmmm Since not everyone has mentioned this problem, I would guess it is just occasional but the charger is good, the batteries have to be babied but ok for backups. I haven't tried the other accessories. Someone mentioned the car charger not fitting the camera so I verified. The camera does not have this connection option. Then again, I did discover that the car charger plugs into the wall charger. If it works, that would be good on a car trip. If I had batteries that fit as well as the Lumex I would give a 5 star rating but just can't at this point.

Works as advertised

These batteries work just fine in the new Panasonic Lumix ZS200 model released in Feb 2018. I just tested them after Panasonic wanted $45 for a single back up battery with no external charger. Panasonic warns to only use genuine Panasonic batteries (did I mention they cost $45 each?) and they have a troubleshooting code which translates very roughly as "You are trying to use non-Panasonic batteries, so we are freezing and locking up this camera until you either take a 190 minute time-out and charge up that dead battery or send us $45 for a new one. Hope you didn't miss an important shot. Sorry for any inconvenience in your life." So beyond working in the ZS200 and not triggering a lock up, what else is there to like about this unit from Big Mike? Well, the name of course, but also the fact that you get two batteries, an external AC charger, a cable to allow charging in the car, a European countries' adapter for travel, a lens cloth, and A PRICE THAT IS NOT $45. Thanks Big Mike! This is a great value.

These batteries last about the same as the Panasonic ones at a fraction of the cost. Maybe slightly less but not enough to complain. Plus, it takes just seconds to swap batteries, so again, not an issue. After a few weeks of usage I started having trouble with the charger -- the batteries were fine and could be charged inside the camera. it was the charger that was misbehaving -- which I contacted the seller about. They quickly sent me a brand new charger free of charge which is working perfectly. I'll definitely consider buying from this seller again.

Both batteries died. Definitely not the same quality as the original, which is still working fine after 4 years.

Not bad

I purchased a PANASONIC LUMIX ZS200 digital camera. It uses these DMW-BLG10 batteries. I was going on a safari to Kenya and wanted to have a set of back up batteries just in case I needed them while on the road. I can definitely say that these are just as good as the original battery that shipped with the camera. The charger works well. The batteries fit nicely and charge very quickly. I charged the original OEM batter in this charger too (not in the camera using the cables). Everything worked well. I'd have no hesitation purchasing this brand of battery in the future.

Just be wear this product does not plug directly in the Australian 240v socket.

I thought a second battery is better than the OEM battery - I have been mistaken- my GX-85 just seem to “eat” batteries. Yet the deal was good - I have two more batteries, which extend the usability a lot- and the charger is highly recommendable as the mini-USB plug in the camera is prone to be damaged!
