Solar Electric Fence Charger 5 Mile - Solar Powered Energizer for Livestock - Low Impedance Solar Fencer Battery Powered

I have a flower bed that I have to protect from deer and rabbits since I live in a rural area. The energizer is working well since I have seen evidence that a deer got the message to leave my flowers alone. The first unit I received was not performing as it should. The seller was quick to help me determine that a replacement unit was needed. I received a phone call from the tech support person in regards to the problem and they are located in Australia. I live in the middle of USA and that impressed me. The seller was quick to address my issues and was pleasant to work with. That heavy Australian accent was charming.

I bought this to electrify a fence for my horse, and so far it’s been amazing. It works for about two weeks with no sun, then I charge it with the cord that comes with it. So far it’s been durable, even with all the snow and it was easy to set up. I like that it fits on a T post and that’s what I have it mounted on. Only complaint I have is that the cable for the ground wire is pretty short so we had to bang the T post in pretty far so we could attach it to the ground rod.

Delivering 7,000 volts to the left side, 5-6 on the front and 5-6 on the right side. Only gave it 4 stars because it’s an awkward thing to try and hang. Not confident it will stay up the way I rigged it. It also kind of feels like a chincy kid toy. But at least it’s delivering the electricity to save my bees hopefully from bear.

The solar electric fence charger arrived well protected in a blister pac in a sturdy box unside another sturdy box. Instructions for pre use and set up were clear and easy to follow. Altho 1st charger didn't work, customer service had a 2nd sent speedily. Return shipping label sent via email so no wait to return. Charger works great. The company was extremely easy to work with even when it took me longer to check out the replacement because of broken bones from an accident. The personel are cheerful, extremely helpful, as well as patient. Will definitely return shop and recommend them. Dogs are unhappy not being able to hop fence and roam the neighborhood.

After charging it up for two days on 120 volt outlet I installed it on the fence line, only about 300' of wire. It tested good. 12 hours later low battery and no shock. On a positive note I was promptly refunded. I can't recommend this product based on my experience.

It was a great find for our little homestead consisting of a few goats and chickens. It brings a peace of mind knowing that our livestock is safer. Just needed to purchase an electric fence polywire; you can get any livestock electric fence of whatever size you need, it's not expensive. I love that there is a back-up battery that generates power for two weeks. Before the installation make sure you read the instructions, some of the steps are important to follow so it would be safe for people to use. I also recommend to install a warning sign next to the livestock enclosure/gate to warn of the existence of an electrified fence. Other than that I think it's worth the price and would be a great investment.

This works well to run the top of my goats pen. I am going to try it out with rotational grazing. I bought (2) 2' grounding rods and itll zap you pretty good. Strength has varied, but it has kept my stubborn female goat in her pen.

After trying multiple deterrents (sprayed on substances organic and otherwise, flashing lights and sounds, sachets of various products) with varied but inconsistent results ultimately ending in deer eating my roses and leaving diseased plants in their wake, I stumbled on this awesome product on May 27, 2022. 1 jolt was all it took, and deer did not return for the rest of 2022. Although better looking that similar products, I still find this device unsightly. I cannot place it in an inconspicuous area in my garden as it needs the sun to charge. Placed in area with about 8-10hr of sunlight on a sunny day, I have not had to plug it in to recharge since initial charge prior to setup. The solar panels have kept it powered.Turned it off and took it down in Dec, 2022 but scout deer sighted Jan, 2023 so the system went back up. It still gives a good jolt when touched so I know it's still working. I spent more than this cost on all the other products I've tried prior to this. Now I'm curious to see if deer will require another jolt or just see/smell, remember and leave. So, deer family of at least 5 came by in Spring 2023. 2 got jolted and they all steered clear of my garden thereafter. A lone deer came by weeks later and navigated the perimeter of the fence to get to garden so I had to extend the primeter. I haven't seen any further attempts to get to my garden. I've gotten used to the sight of this device which is doing an excellent job keeping deer out my flower garden.
