Great Supplement That Works !
Blood Sugar GOLD really works. I've been giving this herbal supplement to my dog for more than 6 weeks and she's doing well. Since she started taking the Blood Sugar Gold she is not hungry and thirsty all the time, so therefore she is not constantly peeing like she was doing 6 weeks ago. She can hold her urine 6 - 8 hours during the night until the next morning. I give her 2 droppers full twice a day, even though the label indicates that she's only suppose to get 1- 1/2 droppers twice a day. I find that the 2 droppers twice a day works better for her. After starting her on a grain free diet (PAWZ and Taste Of The Wild kibbles mixed with some can dog food) that's when I noticed the changes. I also decreased the treats to only at night before bed. I give her a 1/2 cup plain low fat yogurt and mix it with the supplement at night. She only get chicken jerky or boiled chicken breast for her treats and she usually gets that at night with the yogurt. Overall, she's doing well with the supplement and the diet changes. She's not on any insulin she's only taking Blood Sugar Gold. It doesn't work overnight but it does work. Patience is the key. The only issue that I have is the $$$ for a 4oz bottle. I think it's expensive for the amount you get in the bottle. I would feel better about the price if the bottle was 6-8 oz. I purchased a 4oz bottle of Primalix Blood-Sugar BALANCE herbal extract for dogs and cats for only $41 and it has all of the ingredients that's in Blood Sugar Gold. I'm going to try that one next to see if works like this supplement.

Saved my fur baby’s life!
My dog blood sugar were off the charts! My poor baby’s readings were High to out of range. I changed her food several times on my vet’s recommendation but still her blood sugar was consistently high. Until I researched the best “vitamin” to lower blood sugar, and the pet wellness came up. I was a bit hesitant, but I had to try something to help my poor fur baby’s reading…and I will say it IS THE BEST THING I HAVE bought! Saw her blood sugar slowly start going down! It’s been 3 months now that her blood sugar has held steady…thanks to Pet Wellness!!! This product saved my fur baby’s life!!!!

So far so good!
My big girl Teri has been diagnosed as pre-diabetic. At 14, she was drinking a ton, eating like crazy, yet not gaining weight. I suspected she's gone into full blown diabetes. She was sleeping a ton, her eyes had dulled. I found these drops and figured, I would give them a whirl. Seeing as I have two cats, they both get them. I put 7 drops on each food serving they get at night. Tori is due to hit the vet for more blood work and I believe it's going to show her sugar levels have dropped to normal. The only change to her diet has been the addition of these drops. She's already on a low carb, high protein diet. She's eating, active, alert and more social than she's been in a long time. I have to give credit to the drops for aiding her. This is my experience. It might not be the same for everyone.

This product interfered with my dog’s insulin
We purchased Blood Sugar Gold in the hope that it will help us manage my dog’s blood sugar better, so she relies less on her insulin shots (PROZINC). After giving it to her for a couple of weeks, we noticed that her blood sugar readings are going off the roof, so we stopped it immediately and her blood sugar became stable and within the normal range. We never gave it to her at the same time with her insulin shots, but always a couple of hours after. Our conclusion: this product interfered with her insulin, plain and simple. I’m not claiming that it doesn’t work at all, but it certainly didn’t work for us. If your animal is prescribed on ANY type of insulin and you decide to order this product, make sure you monitor their glucose readings closely and watch out for any irregularities.

Diabetic Cat, Vet just diagnosed her, I wanted to try a more Holistic Approach...
I just took my cat to vet a week ago, since she was drinking a lot more water, (For almost a minute straight) and her litter box was filling up a lot faster with urine. My vet ran a Mini profile for $60 and a Thyroid test for $45. She is 10 years old, 11lbs. I had just switched her, a few weeks prior, to Rachel Roy dry cat food from the local grocery store that had no wheat, corn, soy, animal by-products or fillers. That was a mistake, though I thought the ingredients were good for her. I think the switch to this food created this high glucose issue. My vet showed me the test results and the actual vial, 80% of it was filled with a white fat like bacon grease! He explained that dry cat food I was giving her was loaded with fats and not good for her. So he runs the test and tells me that she may be diabetic, which may be food induced. He stated that most of his clients that have cats with diabetes do very well with Purina DM dry food for cats that they also sell there at the vet office. After I bought the dry cat food from the vet, which was very pricey, I started researching this product and dried cat food altogether. I read online about how cats with diabetes should NOT have dry foods, as this is not good for them and the so called RX brands are very costly. My vet wanted me to start the Purina DM dry cat food and have my buy insulin for her. I did not want to do this, as I was thinking this was just caught in time, her excessive drinking and peeing had just started. He gave her a shot of insulin to stabilize her blood sugar a bit. I told him I am going to try the food switch to see if it helps before committing to me having to draw her blood daily and inject her with insulin. I'm all for natural holistic alternatives, if safe. He ok'd me doing this. I knew I had 2 weeks before I had to go back for a Glucose check. I researched cat diabetes more...here is an update: I was praying to god that this would help: After reading reviews, I chose Fancy Feast Classic wet canned food. I started with the chicken and the also the turkey, as they are easier on the stomach for the switch. I slowly introduced it to her, this is very important as cats stomachs cannot handle a fast change with food. I used 1/2 of her normal cat food with 1/3 can of the Fancy Feast Classic before I received the Blood Sugar Gold. I did this for approx 5-6 days. On day 7, I then went to 1/3 of her regular dry cat food and 1/2 of a can of Fancy Feast Wet canned food with 2 drops in the am only of the Blood Sugar Gold. (Make sure to shake it well, as there is settlement towards the bottom). I wanted to slowly introduce her to this as well. I did this for 3 days to make sure her stomach is ok. On day 10, I went to 1/2 a can of Fancy Feast Classic in the am, along with 2 drops of the Blood Sugar Gold. (I keep track of her feeding times on a schedule, since I work from my home office.) I feed her 1/2 a can every 4 hours. Make sure to put a cover on it and refrigerate it, as it can spoil if you leave it out. Example: 10am, 2pm, 6pm, 10pm. I then give her 1/3 of a new can at midnight as a snack. So, at 11-12lbs, she is getting a total of 2 1/3 cans of food. I'm only using 2 drops of the Blood Sugar Gold in the am now. This seems to work for her. Stay away from the dry cat food. My vet prescribed it and I bought it from him, then I got home and read about cats and how they are not meant to eat dry cat foods. My cat's onset Diabetes was food induced from the dry cat food. But I caught it early, when she hovered over her water bowl and started drinking for over 1 minute straight. She peed a lot more as well. Thank god I read about cats, diabetes, dry cat food and came across this product on Amazon. Just google "Cat diabetes". Also, the wet canned cat food, has a lot of water in it. You will notice your cat will not drink as much water once you switch from dry food to wet. Your cat will urinate less as well. Just keep an eye on your pet and KEEP TRACK of the food you give her, the times, the amount of urine and poop. This way you can monitor what is working. Hope this helps.

Not sure what to think
I gave this to my diabetic dog and it tanked her numbers!! So I stopped it immediately. I’m keeping it on hand just in case her numbers get too high and will try it then. But for diabetic dogs, don’t try just becuase! I would only use it when your dog needs it such as when they have high blood sugar only! Update: It did work to bring my dogs numbers down to a normal range, when used if her numbers got too high. So I would recommend this for a diabetic dog ONLY to bring high blood sugar down. And to dogs who are not diabetic, I would pay close attention to make sure this doesn’t make them go hypoglycemic when using.

Amazing stuff
It has only been 2 days from the writing of this review and maybe I'm dreaming but I already see a difference in my little fur baby. She has diabetes and having to give shots twice a day is awful. I stop giving her insulin two days ago and used the supplement instead she is peeing less and is more alert. She is going out on the porch and sitting on the rocker like she used to. She doesn't seem to be laying around like she was dead as before. I do have to put it in her food as she won't let me put it in her mouth. I'm so upset with myself not knowing about this product before. I can see more improvements coming after more days of use. The Veterinarian who created this really understood the pain of insulin shots and understood what other natural product can be used instead. Perhaps it may not work for your dog or cat but it's worth a try because my little one was pretty sick and this is working. I would image you can ease off of the insulin or give a little insulin with the supplement not a Doctor so I don't know. I chose to take her right off of insulin this way I would know if it is working or not but you would have decide how to proceed. Going to order more for sure.

QUICK AND IMPRESSIVE RESULTS FOR OUR YORKIE!!!
My Yorkie that will be 15 in May started showing signs that he possibly has diabetes. I am a nurse and I have had a pomeranian that we had to administer insulin to and I just didn't want to give my sweet Rhett (yorkie) a shot everyday or twice a day unless I just absolutely had too. We were struggling with him constantly being thirsty and wetting the bed every night as he sleeps with us. I first started with male diapers and that thankfully cut down on the accidents on our bed. Anyway, my Dad had used this brand when his golden retriever was dying of cancer...not the blood sugar gold but something that said it helped with cancer and it did help. So when I came upon the Blood Sugar Gold, I thought well if that helps like the product that my dad used then it is worth the try. I purchased the product and got it 4 days ago....yes...4 days ago. The first 2 days I only gave our sweet boy 1 dose because I thought well if I can only give him one dose and it improves things that will be good. So the first 2 nights we still woke up with wet diapers and we normally have to have 2 diapers a night. So with 1 dose we were still in our "normal" routine. Then the last 2 days/nights I gave 2 doses like the bottle says and for 2 nights our diaper has been dry when I got up to take our sweet boy out to potty, I even had to wake him up tonight to go because he was still sleeping. We were also waking up frantically wanting water periodically and that has also stopped. His water consumption has decreased drastically in just 4 days. I know it is still early but with just 4 days under our belts and it has improved things this much...all I can say is this is worth every penny. I am hoping we continue having these results. Also, my sweet boy before this product was very restless and when he would wake up and go potty or whatever it took him an extremely long time to get back settled and relaxed enough to go back to sleep and now for the last 2 nights he immediately lays down and goes to sleep. I can see a huge difference in the short amount of time that I have been giving this product. Give this a try. I am so glad I did.
