Are you live in Florida so this is handy not only around outdoor electronics that will be subjected to the elements but also for things like cleaning off here light bulb sockets, light switches, etc. that start to get a little corrosion with them with age.

I was searching for a product like this for years to clean old electronic gadgets that have layers of grime inside. It seems to have the same properties as something I used to be able to easily buy in most hardware stores called "Tuner Cleaner". For those old enough to remember, analog TV tuners were dials that would get dirty over time and that would eventually lead to bad contacts and a fuzzy picture. All you would need to do was to squirt some cleaner into the tuners and it would melt away the grime and it evaporated in seconds... then viola! The TV was as good as new. Although TV tuners are now solid state, there are still times when you absolutely need a product like this. It's still perfect for any analog parts like volume knobs and for most electronic buttons and dials that get sticky or suffer from a bad connection. After Hurricane Sandy, I had a bunch of computers and other gadgets to clean for my clients, so I searched for the best way to clean them up. I picked this one because it was designed for marine use, so it did a particularly good job of removing not only typical corrosion, but salt deposits. After cleaning, everything looked as good as new.
