Excellent quality and details.

The paint scheme is pretty stunning so if you're on the fence I don't think you can be sorry with this one. In the end it's a Kato, so hard to go wrong. The way I see it is they have a nice mix for detail, quality, robustness, and price. Never been disappointed with their stuff. This was a great addition to put me over the 500 car mark :)

For the price I think the Kato N scale Passenger cars Are simply some of the best you can buy. They have remained consistent throughout the years continually are shipped in plastic jewel cases and it’s one of the best things is that they are not made in China

i'm planning on just laying a big of track on my table and when i feel like it I'll just run it around for a bit..so much detail in such a tiny train Kato appears to make quality stuff

This is the basic set, not the lighted set. The interiors are modeled But you have to paint it. The set is very nice and detailed and is even great for display. I am very happy with it.

For the money, all the cars should have been lighted not just the rear car.
