Is this more of a glitter with individual pieces or shimmer with very very fine glitter?

Is this loose fine pigment similar to the roll on shimmer that is also sold by nyx? what is the difference between these two products?

I haven't used the roll product you refer to, but this container has only three small holes for the product to be dispensed with - not easy to get it out. Also, if you want it to stick, you'll need an adhesive. It's so fine, it sort of flicks off, rather than sticking on your eyelid. Color and size of glitter are both great. Hope this helps!
