Takes time
My knives were quite blunt and the sharpener very soon stopped working. Later it worked for a while again before stopping once more. This has proved to be the pattern and, gradually as my knives became sharper the length of time in use is longer. Now we sharpen them regularly but all this takes time to achieve.

It's sharpener than I thought it would be
It does it so well I have brought others that don't working wanted to cut large boxes down that we're thick cardboard to put in a black bag to be able to put in the blue bins they were cut up with ease and itsnot lost its sharpness yet I was able to cut up large boxes with ease it's brilliant

Dangerous - avoid
Sadly this is typical Chinese made junk that does not meet British Standards. It is not double insulated, is not made for the UK market and the adaptor supplied comes apart in a socket which creates an immediate and dangerous shock hazard. This will be returned immediately.

This item was supplied with a cheap travel adapter for use in UK. Not mentioned in sales description. Firstly I believe all plugs on Uk require a fuse which this didn’t have. In any event the sharpener could only be used two handed with one hand trying to keep the connection to the flimsy travel adapter, which only worked intermittently!!! Hopeless product.

J'ai aiguisé plusieurs de mes couteaux avec ce article et ne mettez surtout pas votre doigt sur la lame quand celle-ci vient d'être faite, vous risqueriez, comme moi rhoo de vous couper :) J'ai juste un souci pour aiguiser les ciseaux, je pense que je m'y prend mal tout simplement, excellent achat à vivement recommander, merci au vendeur
