Perfect and perfectly packed too. Some folks complained about getting this set of cups and saucers with broken and/or flawed pieces. I believe that this set can be bought with or without the decorative box on Amazon. I paid a couple of dollars more for this more complete set 'with the decorative box', and it was well worth it. The packaging was excellent, and the pieces were just as good as I had hoped. Each cup was in its own little box and the saucers were packed in another box with layers of protective paper between each saucer. All of the individual boxes were then packed inside the decorative box which was packed in a heavy duty cardboard box. What more could they do to protect this set in shipping? I was impressed. No, these tea cups and saucers are not as 'fine' as a Royal Dalton china tea set; but these cups and saucers are just as beautiful for far less money. I think that they are exceptionally attractive for display and for daily use. I am very pleased that I bought them. I lost my photos to this review, when I attempted to edit the post. Sorry.

it is just as fancy as it looks on the picture. Great for tea parties. But good for everyday use as well, because not too. It was packaged very professionally, childrens opened it, without any problem. I strongly recommend.
