This is a great spice rack made of good quality wood and materials. They look totally custom made!! The selling point for me here was that it was adjustable. I have purchase many others that were not adjustable and was sorry. They never seemed to fit well when the spice jars actually got into the rack and the door TRIED to close. Also, if you move houses alot (which we do) adjustable is a MUST. You never know what your next kitchen dimensions will be like so this spice rack can definatly go with you everywhere!**Apartments/Rentals: No worries. When you move go ahead and just put wood putty in the 4 holes that matches the cabinet color. Highly doubt the landlord would even notice the 4 small holes patched up inside the cabinet!The only CON I can think of: I use the round, organic "Frontier" brand spice bottles from Whole Foods and with this particular rack size, it will only fit 4 bottles on each shelf making this a total of 12 spice jars vs the advertised 15!! For the price of this rack that was a major bummer but I am looking into other bottles that will allow me to fully utalize the space better on each shelf. If you dont mind your brand there are definatly other brands that will fit the full 5 on each shelf.Important Note: USE THE METAL EXTENDER BRACKETS THAT ATTACH TO THE FRAME "POLES" WITH SMALL SILVER SCREWS!! DONT BE LAZY LIKE ME AND END UP ATTACHING THE POLES DIRECTLY TO THE CABINET DOOR USING THE LARGER SCREWS. =)

This is a great idea but the way it actually works gives almost no storage. The three rack system I purchased literally gave me enough space to store 9-12 spice bottles total amongst the three shelves (round or square or rectangles like dry mustard or certain paprika brand packages) and an extra amount of room per shelf that would fit about 3/4 of a container's width - which nothing fit into. Maybe you could fit 5 per "shelf" if you had uber skinny containers. I tried the asst of containers in my widely varied spice collection (probably 30-40 containers easily) and no luck. I decided it was better to pay the shipping both ways and get the remainder of my money back as it was expensive and not an efficient use of space. I plan to either make my own racks with less clunky wood and buy cleats to install directly to the door or use heavy-duty command strips. Either way, I want to be able to put the majority of my spices on the two cabinet doors and this would only store about one row. If you have a very small collection of dried spices then this might work for you. It is well built, just clunky because of that.

This spice rack is beautiful and so well made. When I received it, one self was cracked. I’m sure it was damaged in shipping. After I contacted customer service, they quickly sent a replacement shelf.

I do like the way this spice rack looks on the inside of the door. It's solid, secure, very functional, but for the life of me, I can't figure out why it only comes with three shelves. Spice jars simply aren't that tall. As have other reviewers, we contacted the company in hopes of being able to purchase an additional shelf, and were assured that was not an option though the woman we spoke with added, "we have a lot of requests for that." The system is just enough pricey that I'm not willing to buy a second one simply to have the shelves, so I make do. So, in short, I am very pleased with this spice rack, it was easy to assemble, looks nice, is "solid," but the company seems short-sighted in its response to consumer requests.

Liked the product however the instructions and hardware for mounting are very poor. Double check prior to putting holes in your cabinets. If I had followed the instructions the fasteners for the metal brackets were not included and the holes would have placed the stringers so that the shelves would have not made contact. I purchased the 18in unit.

My builder had put in two of these for my kitchen and I decided later on to get a third. They are beautifully made and hold most spice jars. Can fit 4 regular size spice jars in each row.
