what is the difference between this product (10004) and this product Slime 10056 Tube Sealant?

The 10004 in addition to bikes and dirt bikes can be used on wheelbarrows and the 10056 is just for bikes and dirt bikes  i hope that help.

Will this product fit any bike valve?

This product should fit both schrader (regular, fat one) and presta (skinny) valves. You'll have no trouble with your schrader valve (regular, fat one), but it will get a little complicated if your bike has the presta valve (skinny one). You'll find tutorials on youtube for putting slime in a tube with either valve.

if i use this. Will i still need to put a patch on the hole? Is this permanent?

If the hole in your tube is smaller than 1/8", then the tube sealant will seal it up and you will not need to patch it. Slime's tube sealant lasts 2 years, so the repair will not be permanent, but it will last 2 years before you will need to add more Slime to your tube.

Question 4

There may or may not be tubes in my mower now. Can I use either product for tubes or tubeless tires?

You can determine if your mower tires have inner tubes by simply examining the valve stem.  If the valve stem is constant diameter, and the same size as the hole in the steel wheel, then you have an inner tube.  If the valve flares at the bottom (larger than the top threaded end), then you have a tubeless tire.  Use the product that is appropriate for what you find.

Personally, I would not use any tire sealant products without an inner tube.  When you need to replace a tubeless tire, or if you get a puncture that won't seal, then tire replacement or repair will be a BIG mess and your tire guy won't be happy.  If you are your tire guy, then you will be even less happy.  With an inner tube, the mess is confined to the tube which can be reused or discarded as appropriate.  If you have to clean this stuff out of a tubeless tire and rim, the only good news is it's water soluble...sort of.
