Older editions of this or any print book had the major drawback of not exposing you to the sound of native speakers, but the new download feature overcomes this. Another option would be to pair it with a free app like Duolingo for more listening practice. I found I progressed much faster with this book than with Duolingo alone. If you wish to master German, this is not the book for you. But I found it highly effective to achieve basic communication at a bargain price. But still a good one *by R***R on May 19, 2018* Cool book, I wish it was really separated what is that to do for 10 min today, tomorrow and so on.. I just have to choose where to stop, so I dont actually spend only 10 min, and skip many days...
