Easier. Features two-piece construction for use with or without a handle, threaded top on the handle and a comfortable grip. 1. Place the clothes hole over the egg so that the wrong side of the fabric is facing you. 2. Start with a darning needle of the right size and a repair material (reinforcement thread, embroidery thread or yarn) for your project at least five stitches on the edge of the hole. For stability, use longer lengths of repair material. 3. Strive for a tight weave. Start sewing from top to bottom with a playpen stitch. 4. Add lines vertically spaced approximately one strand width apart. Leave small bows at the end of each row. Stitches in a row should alternate with stitches the next, creating a traditional brick design. 5. When your stitch reaches the hole, the "bridge" stitch starts on one side above the edge of the hole and continues from below the edge on the other. The next "bridge" stitch starts from below the edge and continues across the edge on the other side. Alternative "bridge" stitches in this method. 6.
