Warning - do not update bios
Could well be very good but on starting it up for the first time after making going through the first few things with Windows 10, the HP software says that there is an important BIOS update to do.This appeared to go through fine and verify but then when it tries to restart nothing happens.I imagine HP have a faulty BIOS update that just bricks the machine. Until they sort this, any update is likely to trash the machine.Have requested a refund and will look for another make now. Shocking that a new laptop can be bricked in such a way.

Laptop started updating and Black Screen Appeared!!!
had this laptop turned on for less than 2 hours. it prompted me to do a windows update. Screen went black and it never came back on again. Must be a known problem with HP as there are numerous videos and websites as to how to work around this problem!!! Which you should not be doing with a brand new laptop. Sent it back and changed brands. Will never buy HP again.
