This rice cooker was great at the start but within less than 2 months, it has stopped working and will not turn on so I am forced to buy a new rice cooker

It does the job, Enough for Max 2 cups of Rice I believe which would feed 2-3 people. You can cover the lid on top of the ban directly without the steam veg section if not required. Rice came out nicely cooked. Only down side is, the moment you connect it to power it turns on warm directly, it does not have ON/OFF switch.

It has brought so much ease in cooking as well as cleaning it

I like it so far easy to use but not easy to clean the bowl is very sticky, you will have to soak it in water in order to remove the rice from the bowl. It cook the rice perfectly every time you have to adjust the water level for each type of rice.

This isn’t a fancy rice cooker that seals the food. The fancier ones work with fuzzy logic, this one is only triggered by weight. The steam isn’t locked so you’ll need to use more water than 1:1 ratio. For sushi rice I use, 1:1.25 ratio and for other short grains I use slightly less than 1:1.5 rice to water ratio. It can cook up to two cups of rice. I bought this for the convenience. I like that I don’t have to stay by the stove to turn down the flame. Usually two cups of rice with the ratios I use cook around in 15minutes. Then I let it sit for 10minutes before serving it.

It works perfectly. More than enough to cook a meal for 2 people, even 3 (if not so hungry).For the price I paid - this is so worth it. Very easy to use. I like how it's compact and won't take much space in the kitchen area. Perfect for those cooking solo or a ccouple. Thanks Amazon.
