Sometimes, you just have to pay for the right brand, which this is. I had a terrible service from a previous (cheaper) competitor, and nothing could be done when it broke within a few months. The glass jars are great. I get refilled cylinders through an exchange program at Canadian Tire.

Quality product, happy with it, all around.

It is easy to use, has great glass bottles, and makes lovely fizzy water that lasts several days before losing fizz. Fizz is best and holds longer if you fizz already cold water rather than straight-from-the-tap water. I've been using this since August of 2022, and almost daily. The machine is still working as well as the first day I started using it. I had trouble getting it to fizz the water at first, but after a call to customer service, they explained what I should do, and it has worked perfectly since then. My only complaint would be that the instructions are not great. I love the glass bottles, from the look to the feel of them, and they (and the lids) are almost indestructible, a plus since I tend to drop things a lot, but have never broken them. I really like this machine, and the fizzy water tastes great!

I had a SodaStream years ago that worked really great. I gave it away when I moved years ago. Recently a friend showed their SodaStream Aqua Fizz in action and it was the model that had GLASS carafes instead of plastic bottles so I bought it. It was easy to set up, but when I pushed the button to carbonate, it spilled water in the machine under the carafe.(Yes, I ONLY filled it to the Fill line, no more.) Plus I noticed the carbonation was very weak. I kept trying over several days days and it was the same - water everywhere, no matter what I did. Plus the carbonation was very, very weak, even with a full canister. Do check the other 1 star, 2 star and 3 star reviews and you'll see that is model has this known defect. **ALSO be aware, SodaStream does not tell you anyplace that the glass carafes are only 1/2 a liter (1 pint, 16 ozs) instead of the regular 1 liter (32 ounces) bottles in other models. I went to the SodaStream website and found that they don't even carry the Fizz model for sale any more. That should be a reason not to buy it. Skip this one, the model is defective!!
